I finally was able to deep condition my hair with this product and I absolutely love it. It softened my hair and it was easy to detangle.. I would suggest also using the KeraKare detangling shampoo before using this conditioner because it literally makes my hair feel so soft. I would buy from this seller again.

I worked in a mid-level chain salon in 2008 as a shampoo girl and this is what we used on clients with coarse hair types AND as a deep conditioning treatment on any client. I wanted something inexpensive that I could use fairly frequently to deep condition at home and remembered this brand. It’s still pretty darn good! I have color treated, mostly 2a with a touch of 2b hair. Today I used this in the shower in place of my regular conditioner—applied, combed through, waited about 3 minutes, and rinsed. For an actual treatment I’d leave it in much longer with a plastic cap and maybe even heat from my bonnet dryer, but it worked just fine this way for me! I’d imagine thicker hair with more texture would need more time. Anyway, I like it a lot, and 5 pounds for $32 is a pretty stellar price! I can’t give it 5 stars because it’s not like, life-changing, but it does the trick if you have reasonable expectations!
