I have medium to long hair, average thickness with a slight amount of natural body. I have color treated hair. I use this item instead of a round brush and a hair dryer. It’s extremely smooth and easy on my hair. It has multiple speeds and works well. The protective case around the bristles makes it easy to take care of. Highly recommend!

I straightened my hair, which means I need to dry and brush it after washing. I never used a hair dryer bc my natural curls got fine with it. So, although I LOVE my new straight hair, I was not so happy about adding this new step of drying and brushing. My hair, white, very thick and somewhat coarse, and lots of it despite my age. Got this one yesterday and tested it on my dry hair, for texturizing and styling. Doesn’t work for either one. I will test it in wet hair next to see if it is a good idea for a dryer.
Cool shot: doesn’t have one. It has a “cool” setting but it runs at full speed just like the hot setting does. It isn’t room temperature cold either. Too warm once you have used the high and low settings. Not sure how long one has to wait to get cold hair to settle style but anything short of a cold shot won’t work. I don’t believe there is a brush dryer out there that has a cool shot though.
Weight and size are perfect, especially for those of us, seniors, with less hand and arm strength. I had no issue holding it over my head. (Got the 60mm by the way). I had purchased both size Revlon brush dryers previously and had to return both. First model was too heavy; newer model still too heavy, long, and ways too hot.
It comes with a cover for the brush. I thought that was also a stand, meaning you could put the brush in, and set it upright on a vanity. Not so. It only covers the brush.
There is no way to hang it either. Not being able to stand on the vanity or being hung, it is an issue for those of use with small bathrooms. I honestly don’t have a place to put it. I was hoping to hang it where my hair dryer now is.
So, price was excellent, quality looks good for now, easy to handle but keep in mind it only works to dry your hair straight. Don’t expect to be able to make any waves, texturizing, styling, etc.
UPDATE: I have now used this brush 3 times after washing. The brush is super easy to use but it takes longer to style your hair. You’re supposed to wait until 70% of hair is dry to style it. A hair dryer, brush and flat iron is a lot faster.
No matter how much anti-frizz products I use, my hair looks very frizzy especially on very top of my head. I feel like the brush is breaking my hair since I remove a lot from it after finishing. I also see no apparent shine, despite the ad claiming that it ads shine.
I think I may be sending it back after all. Would love to find a light dryer brush that actually works as well as a flat iron for freezies and shine.

I bought this blowout brush because I keep seeing ads on my feed. While it is pretty and does get the job done, it’s not as hot as my previous brush (cheaper brand). My previous brush went to 450 degrees and this one seems like 360 degrees. I prefer the hotter seating as I have thick wavy hair. I tried it as soon as I received it and my hair was wet right out of the bath. It took about 20 minutes to blowout my shoulder length hair and it looks ok. I’m going to have to play with it some to get a prettier blow out. The barrel is light and dies t pull your hair. The handle was a bit wide but easy fitting in my hands. Over all, it’s a great item and very pretty. I bought the black brush and I loved that it came with a brush protector for storage. My previous one got damaged as I say it down after use. So I feel this brush protector will help keep those bristles protected.

If you like a good blowout, this is the product for you. I tried a few of these from different makers, but this was the best. I especially love that the tip does not get too hot to touch. Adds volume, shine and smoothness. Easier to manage than a round brush and blow dryer. Also, the air is evenly distributed, which is critical. Love it.
