The name is accurate: Good as new. Ouidad brought my curls back to life after thyroid cancer and the hormonal after effects. My texture, porosity, and curl pattern all changed leaving my hair weighed down and stringy by products that used to work. This shampoo and the coordinating conditioner gently cleaned and moisturized my hair without drying it out or weighing it down. And it smells great, too – has a deep woodsy note. I’d also recommend the Ouidad clarifying shampoo for a biweekly deep clean without damage. My curls are back to being bouncy and shiny, even in a dry winter. I’m so happy with this product.

I can’t say enough about how well my hair has responded to this shampoo. Waves, curls and frizz is a daily challenge. Thrilled with the results thus far, though the real test for the shampoo will be when the hot, humid weather shows up soon. 🤞 And I do like that it is not heavily scented.
