I am not a professional, but I cut my boys hair with these and noticed a big difference from my old set. They don’t feel cheap and take along time before they get warm. The value is great it pays for itself after 2 cuts. They did not pull hair and the attachments fit nice. I only wished it came with a hard case for storage.

Like many I bought this to cut my hair when all the shops were closed. Its a great product, heavy and well made. Gets mildly warm in the hand after about 20 minutes continuous use, but no big deal. Cuts my straight asian hair without issue and does not leave any stragglers like some of the cheaper clippers. I’ve had it almost a year without issue. I would recommend the Wahl Professional Sterling 4 Clipper #8700.

I got the Wahl Professional Sterling 4 Clipper Model 8700 to compliment an 8779 at my hair station. While the 8779 is good for small work, the 8700 is a proper professional hair tool. It has a satisfying heft, without being too heavy. That translates into high maneuverability, with minimal fatigue – which is excellent when you’re spending a full day behind the chair! Yes, the 8700 is corded, but I prefer having to deal with the cord, than to be holding the weight of a lithium-ion battery while getting an inferior cutting experience. Aesthetically, I don’t love the mirror chrome look, but the 8700 just works. Importantly, it comes apart for cleaning pretty easily. Recommended

Bought these to replace clippers that I couldn’t repair, at first glance these clippers were basically the same as my old ones, they cut well, my only beef with the new clippers is that they are noticeably heavier than my old ones also these didn’t come with a case.

I really like the product and I was able to cut my hair plus my Dad’s hair without the clippers overheating. The only PROBLEM that I had was that the clipper guards arrived broken except for the 1 and 2 guards! but overall the performance of the clippers are very good.
