I was previously using other shampoos and hairs would either be in my hand or on the shower floor. I was concerned about too much hair falling out so wanted to try a more natural shampoo instead of a shampoo with too many chemicals. If you do your research on the vitamins and natural herbal products that your hair follicles need you will find that most of them are contained in this shampoo. Within just a few days after using this shampoo I noticed that there was not even a single strand of hair in my hand or on the shower floor. That’s when I knew I finally found the RIGHT shampoo. After just a few weeks my hair was also fuller. Obviously from losing less hair. I am not saying this shampoo grows hair as I have no proof of that but I do have proof that it stopped my hair from falling out which was my number one priority. I am confident that the natural ingredients do help with natural growth. My scalp did get a little dry and itchy but it was winter weather at the time and I didn’t buy the Conditioner that they sell. I recently bought the conditioner and it added the moisturizer needed for the scalp. I highly recommend this shampoo if you are looking for a more natural product and one that STOPS your hair from falling out. And do not try to be cheap and skip on the conditioner. I also highly recommend it since it also has less chemicals and more natural ingredients.

My hair started thinning as my hormones changed…in my 40’s. I have been using this shampoo with Miinoxidil foam for the past couple of years, lately I just use this shampoo. It’s hard to tell what is working, but my hair is looking good. Not as thick as when I was in my 20’s but it seems to be holding it’s own so far. This is the shampoo I use most often, I let it sit for 5 minutes then rinse out. I think it has helped my hair with some regrowth…I stopped using the Minoxidil 6 months ago and my hair, by using this shampoo, still looks good.

Wow! What an incredibly scary and disappointing experience with this shampoo!!! I bought it because of the reviews stating how well it worked and ignored the reviews saying it caused hair to fall out. I didn’t see any way that it could have actually caused hair to fall out! I used it and the conditioner for the 1st time this morning and to my shock and horror, my hair fell out in handfuls as I towel dried it!! I lost at least 5 times as much hair as I usually do from washing it!! If I could sue this company for damages and false advertising, I sure would!! Do NOT use these hair products unless you can afford to lose a LOT of hair in one washing!

Great product! I personally cant deal with serums and special creams for hair growth, tried a lot of different brands and there was always something bothering me: smell, consistency or the work you have to do to make them work (apply, walk around or sleep and wash it off in the morning – which can be a pain, if you have long hair). Therefore shampoo is the best option for me, I just follow my usual shower/washing hair routine: shampoo, conditioner and you good to go! I have been using Lipogaine shampoo already for two years, started when product was called “the big 3”. I love the smell and how light and fresh my hair look after I used it. The product really helps with hair growth, I constantly receive compliments how full and healthy my hair look, without using any volume products or special styling. The real difference I noticed after 6 month of using Lipogaine – there were less hair on a shower drain and on the brush. I do think it is important to follow instructions and apply shampoo twice, leaving second time it on for 2-4 mins before rinsing to reach a desired effect.

When I order this product I was desparate! My hair was so damaged from coloring and heat styling that I was considering having extensions put in. It was so thin, so lifeless, so brittle. I’m on my third bottle now and there is such a difference! I could tell a difference after just using it a couple times, but now there is night and day difference. It’s not a magic pill that gives changes your damaged hair to perfect hair overnight, but let me tell you, THIS product is the one that works, and I’ve tried them all. My hair was breaking off, falling out, difficult to do anything with because it was so thin and brittle. I just got the ends trimmed for the first time in 4 months and my hair dresser asked me what I’ve been using because my hair looks SO much better! I love that this is not heavily scented, it rinses out easily, and I don’t hair all the hair loss anymore! This is the product that works!!!!

I have tried using this product for close to a year. I do not know if it truly helps to keep my hair from falling out, because my hair is still falling out. But I like the menthol stimulating smell and feel of the shampoo on my head so I will continue to use it for now.

I’ve had a lot of hair issues the last 4 years. Stress in my life has caused my hair to shed, thin and fall out. I have tried lots of supplements and shampoos. I read the reviews and thought I would try this.
I am currently on my second bottle of Big 5 shampoo so feel I have good knowledge to pass on.
After wetting my hair in the shower I use a small amount to scrub the scalp all over and rinse. Then I repeat with more shampoo and let it sit on my scalp for a few minutes. The smell is nice and the oils feel good and comforting on my scalp. Rinse really good and apply the Big 5 conditioner. Again I let it sit for about 5 minutes. After using this for 6 weeks I am now happy to say I have new hair growth and my hair is thicker.
I will keep buying this product. Thank you to others that left reviews before me.
