No matter how I rigged this up with my convertor/adapter this thing never got enough power in Ireland/England. It took a painfully long time to style my mid back length hair. I was happy to have rather than not. In the US it works better. Not better than my Revlon though.

This blow dryer worked perfectly in England. The adapter that comes with it is literal garbage, but I used a good one that I have and my hair looked great! All levels of heat worked perfectly too. One downfall of this product: it is excessively loud. The loudest blow dryer I’ve ever owned and it left my ears ringing after every use. My husband and mom said it was uncomfortably loud for them as well, and were glad when I was done with every use. If you don’t have sensitive hearing, then this product is for you and won’t let you down. I ended up buying another dual voltage dryer that is quieter for my own comfort.

I bought this brush dryer ten months ago from Amazon, specifically for travel to Europe, as it was the highest rated dual voltage brush dryer on the web. It does a good job of brush drying my fine hair into a sleek bob with the ends curled under. I start using it, as recommended, when my hair is about 80% dry, and it takes about 35 minutes for my shoulder-length hair. The result is sleek and relatively frizz-free.

But I hate using it for two reasons: 1) it’s very loud. The Hot+ and the Cold settings reach 86 to 89dB. The Hot setting comes in at about 83dB. After 35 minutes at those noise levels I feel pretty cranky! 2) The top of the barrel is supposed to be long enough so that you can hold it without burning your fingers. But my fingers constantly slip off (and no, I don’t have big fingers at all), so that I scald my fingers on the barrel.

I have no experience of other brush dryers, so don’t know how common my two complaints are. I wish that the decibel ratings were part of the product descriptions so that I could make better choices. I’m now on the hunt for a new, quieter, brush dryer, and yes, dual voltage is still a necessity.

After reading the reviews, I purchased the white hairdryer for a trip to France and Italy. I just got back and it worked great in all the hotels in both countries! You do have to use the adapter that comes with it, so don’t forget it. The plus side is it came with a bag for easy packing. Even though it’s a bit bulky for packing purposes, it’s worth it! I wasn’t sure if every hotel we were staying at would have a hairdryer available which is why I purchased this, and glad I did. The only downside is it takes a few seconds for it to start up, and once running it is on the louder side, but it’s definitely not the end of the world by any means. Dried my hair just as good as the expensive one I use daily at home in the US, and even a little faster if that’s possible. Highly recommend this product if traveling in Europe.

I read the reviews before buying this and saluted until after my trip to share my comments. The reviews were all good. I needed this hot air brush for travel to Egypt and it worked great. It even included an adapter for Europe including Egypt. The dual voltage worked perfectly and the brush itself was easy to use and performed very well. I highly recommend this product.

Whenever I travel to Europe, I bring my hair blowers, and they tend to spark and sometimes gm create smoke. Even though I use a converter, I can never seem to use the blowers. This was exactly what I needed. It worked great in Europe! And now this is my main blower now that I’m at home!

So I bought this for an EU trip coming up and decided to try it out. I have very thick and long hair and I did let it air dry a bit, could have done a little longer. With that being said, it did dry my hair pretty well and only took a little longer than my Dyson. I look forward to seeing how it does on my trip.

  8. Midi

Never regret buying this hair dryer brush, it’s so easy to use. I am always having frizzy hair and need to use straightener every time after I blow my hair, but this hair dryer brush combine dryer and straightener together and save me so much time. My hair is much less frizzy and i can just go out immediately without styling with my straightener. A huge recommendation to buy!

I bought this to use on a European trip but was pleasantly surprised that it works great in both the US and in Europe. It is very similar to the revlon product I use, but I like the switch control on this one better. On both, I avoid the highest setting, which I feel is excessively hot, and wait until my hair is damp/dry before I use it. My hair comes out smooth and shiny. FYI: when traveling, you can use your own smaller plug adapter if you are just going to one region. The adapter that comes with it fits various plugs but is bulky and you most likely do not need all the plugs on a single trip. There is no need for a converter as it converts automatically. There is a slight, one second, delay when you turn it on.

Lo acabo de llevar a Europa y funciono perfecto en París, Países Bajos y España. No tuve ningún problema.
