The photo of me with the amazing curls is when I used JVN, the other photo is of me using Curlsmith for a month now. I wish I had read the reviews before getting this product. I’d been using JVN Conditioner and then switched to this. Since it’s the only product in my hair routine that changed, I know it’s at fault for literally causing frizz and making me lose my curl. I’m going back to JVN!

Curlsmith Glow Perfecting Conditioner
I have been on a mission to find my holy grail products to deal with my fine/wavy hair that has been unruly lately. I have been trying different curlsmith products and have not yet found anything that will help me. I decided to try the glow-perfecting conditioner because I was told that it is lightweight, I do not have color-treated hair, but it states on curlsmith website that it’s for all types of hair, even straight hair. First, the smell is absolutely amazing, I wish more products had this scent, not too strong or overpowering in any way, just a yummy sweet scent, which I love (I am very sensitive to strong smells) The conditioner feels nice going on, it’s thick and creamy. However, like every other product and curlsmith product, this did not help me, I feel that even though it says lightweight, it was still heavy for me, I don’t think this is a good option for someone with very fine/thin hair, I feel like it’s probably the shea butter, maybe shea butter is my hair’s nemesis. This conditioner weighed down my hair and also caused that frizzy look and waxy feeling. I did not like this at all. I would not recommend this to anyone with fine/thin wavy hair, it may be great for thicker hair, but the mixture of shea butter and possibly glycerin is too heavy for me.
