Our two girls were so excited to try their new gift (this hooded dryer) from mama and daddy right away when we received it from Amazon, but the dryer did not live up to our expectations. Our girls’ hairs are both long and both hairs were still wet towards the bottom of the hairs. The dryer took forever to dry the top of their hairs ONLY and it smeller like burnt plastic all the time when running too. It is clunky and very heavy to move around too. We did not like it at all actually! We will stick with a regular hand-held hair dryer going forward!

Makes home washing of my locs alot easier, no more tired arms from holding a blow drier. I use this dryer while sitting in my recliner so it gets 5 starts for that and is definitelyworth the money! The dryer comes down on my head far enough and I’m able to pile my locs on top of my head to be sure the ends get dry as well. It heats up pretty well and I’ve only used once but so far so good. I had a little trouble getting the wheels onto the base during assembly but once I figured it out the rest was self explanatory. I would definitely recommend this dryer for anyone who is able to wash at home and save some money from the salon.

So I got this to use in my salon suite. And it works as promised. It was much hotter than any of the dryers that we had in there. I do recommend putting it on the low heat setting because I did my own highlights and set under there for the amount of time I would have under the old dryer and I fried my face framing layers and had to create semi curtain bangs LOL but good price, easy to use, if you’re going to put it on a high heat setting you don’t need to keep it on for a long time, not super noisy either

I’m giving this 2 and a half stars because putting on the legs was sooo hard and I hurt my fingers multiple times trying to get them on. And be aware it kind of tilts a bit due to the actual dryer part being big. They should have had a stronger base to stop the tilting. I haven’t used item yet so hopefully it works good…also, one of my legs was broken and I couldn’t get a refund or even credit from Amazon because they wanted me to return item even though I said I’d keep it with broken leg..
UPDATE: I like this dryer. It does good and gives off good heat. This is a nice product and I’d definitely recommend this to people. My hair dried fast.
