I recently purchased the the large brush. Ir does reach my scalp. The nylon brisles are hard so please be aware when using. The difference between these two classic brushes is that the pearson has less bristles which allows more hair to flow and the kent has bristles. Its very good brush

The nylon quills were like sharp needles and when I went to use it for the first time it scratched my scalp and drew blood. It did not feel good so I returned it for a full refund. Sorry that it did not work out.

I can’t use this brush at all because the bristles painfully scratch my scalp. If I lightly run it against my arm it leaves white marks. This might work for you if you have very thick curly hair but mine is long and straight so not for me.

This brush has the best quality ever . It’s beautiful, It’s ergonomic. I just use it one time in my hair and looks totally different. Can’t wait for tomorrow to use it again. It’s an expensive piece, but it’s worth it because its quality will last A lifetime.

While the name Kent isn’t as well known, it is identical in every way to its more famous (and considerably more expensive cousin). If you want the perfect brush for 100 strokes the Kent is ideal! Lightweight- Durable- tangle-free brushing and an unbeatable scalp massage. This brush easily gets through my thick hair right down to the scalp. The brush cleaning tool is a true gem! I clean my brush easily every day. So there! I make my case.
