The iron seems high quality and does well when you’re able to get the hair around the wand correctly. With that said getting the hair around it correctly is so difficult! I have fine silky hair that is layered. If you could hold the end of the section and wrap it that would work but you can’t do that. If you do, which I have tried, you just get bumps and not curls. This is because the hair is more like a twist being wrapped around the wand and only the sections, even if it’s small, closest to the wand get heated. You MUST lay your hair flat on the wand and continue to wrap it working down the wand which causes you to constantly release the hair and reposition it. And when you have layered hair that is also silky it is easy to lose it and it all falls apart and you have to start over. So, if you have hair that is all one length that has a little texture, I bet this product works wonderfully. For me, I find myself using it less and less because of the hassle. A curling iron flattens the hair as you wrap it and it holds the ends tight to the iron. So even layers can be curled. So, maybe it’s for you maybe it isn’t I hope this helps!

Just the right curl for very long hair. Long barrel and tapered. Curls hold for days. There is no clip (which I prefer) so you can do many different types of curls. If you have long hair, I highly recommend this wand.
