I have wavy/curly gray hair that needs a decent dose of moisture in both shampoo and condition. This product does well to clean my hair although I am not a fan of the tea tree scent. It doesn’t lather at first, but if you do the wash, rinse, repeat method, it will lather better on the repeat step. I tend to wash my hair twice a week so I must do wash, rinse, repeat. The shampoo is not very moisturizing however for my hair. It may do better for someone who has an oiler scalp and roots.

The Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner Set is nice. The shampoo and conditioner worked as described and my hair looked nice after I used it. The Shampoo & conditioner bottles were much bigger than I expected them to be. Both bottles have a dispensing pump. The pump measures out a nice amount of the product to use with just one push. The shampoo has a really nice lather which was easy to rinse out. The conditioner also rinsed out without leaving my hair feeling oily. The next day my hair still looked nice and it was easy to manage. That is one thing that is important to me because I normally wash my hair every other day or every 2 days depending on what I am doing. The one draw back to this shampoo is the scent. I didn’t know what tree tea oil smelled like. And I discovered it is kind of a medicinal smell. With the shampoo the scent is lighter but It is a lot stronger in the conditioner once I put it on my head. I wish I had picked one of the other scents.
My recommendation; The shampoo is nice and I like the way my hair looks and feels after washing it. But I would pick a different scent if you do not know what Tree Tea Oil smells like.

I received this item for free from Vine. This works great for cleaning your hair and the conditioner is okay – it works way better for my partner’s hair than it does for mine. My partner has thin wavey hair (somewhere between 2b and 2c) where as I’m a 1b not quite coarse. For my partner it does a great job hydrating and adding volume. For mine I had to use more of my hair serums cuz it left my hair feeling slightly dry.

This product I started using when my salon friend told me that I should use salt free and paraben sulfate free shampoos as it dries the hair and makes the hair rough and frizzy… and also my colored hair feels soft and dirt free.. It doesnt dry up like the other shampoos and protects.. just have in mind that it doesnt foam up like the other shampoo becz it doesnt have salt.. but when u wet your hair and spread a little bit of the shampoo and while washing u can find it foams a bit, but its worth the price!
