Bought this hair dryer April 23,2023. I have not even used it more than 12-15 times as I limit using heat tools on my hair. Went to use it today, 10/24/23 and it wouldn’t even turn on. The temperature light just flashes and the motor does nothing.When it worked, I LOVED IT! It was super quiet to where my son with autism actually wanted me to blow dry his hair with it,Unlike the loud old fashioned one I’ve had over 15yrs that quit on me in April when I bought this 1 that he ran away from any time I used it. I liked the sleekness and less bulky design of this one, but none of the positives matter if it does not work. Spending $60 plus tax on this I expected to get a few years out of it at least,especially only using a couple times a month. A refund or new hair dryer from the seller would be ideal. I don’t give negative reviews but this is just unacceptable for any product with hardly any use! I will update my review if this is resolved. Thanks:)

You are probably wondering how we got here… Well, there comes a time, in most peoples’ lives, when the heavy/loud/terrible/burning/80lb/$14.99 hairdryer needs to retire. That time for me was fall 2023. Our story begins on a Monday, during a post-shower blowout routine. I was about 1/2 way through said routine when my wrist decided it had had enough. The weight of my old hairdryer caused my wrist cramp (yay carpal tunnel) and said cramp spasmed my hairdryer hand open…. Cue slow-mo action shot of the hairdryer exiting my hand and violently bouncing off the hot curling iron resting next to the sink. Guess who isn’t Spiderman and had two hair tools land directly onto their foot? ME! With a bruised/slightly crispy foot, I began my search for a hairdryer replacement.
My wishlist included the following: Must be light weight, quiet, have next to no extra parts, not ugly, mid-range price ($50-$150 budget), 4.8 star+, and good for fine hair.

I decided to take a chance on this hairdryer and ordered the white version. After using it a few times, I ended up buying a second one (in silver) for my boyfriend’s house / when I travel.
Pros: Hit all my wishlist items. The head attachments are magnetic!
Beige Flag: The temperature button felt like it was kinda in a weird spot. Had to adjust my grip for my first few weeks of using the hairdryer as to not randomly change the temp. Now, I’m used to it and can click it with my palm if a temp change is needed mid blowout.
Cons: No Cons for me other than the silver hairdryer dying last week of January. (Sept 2023 to Jan 2024). The white is still going strong with no issues (Sept 2023 – current).
My Hair: Shoulder length, fine, no color.

Pros: Purchased for lower decibels. Pleasantly Surprised by force of air with 4 temperature choices. It’s perfect for dog drying at lower heat because the strong air flow really does a good job.
Cons: the temperature control button should have been placed above (not below) the on/off switch.
The air flow should have a way to reduce the speed more for human hair styling purposes.

The Kauoo High Speed Blow Dryer is the best dryer I’ve ever used! It not only cuts down on drying time, it leaves hair smoother than other dryers. Really! It is lightweight and very powerful! I like it so much, I bought one for my daughter who lives in another state. I am confident in recommending the Kauoo Dryer.

This is the best hair dryer I’ve ever used! I love they have four temperature settings and how the color changes. Air flow is strong and cool setting blow out cooler air which I like it. Weight is definitely light side but sturdy. And the attachment compressor is magnetic. I really don’t think I have experienced the negative ion effect (your hair becomes softer blah blah) in my hair dryer history, but I just used my new blow dryer and my hair is literally softer. I am impressed.

Perfect size and lightweight for travel. It’s quite powerful if you need to dry hair quickly. However, do expect that your hair will fly and possibly tangle if you have long hair. I find the control buttons are not well placed and all are the same small size. It’s a bit difficult to turn on and off if you have big fingers. Also the heat button is too close to where you hold the blower so it is easy to accidentally change the heat settings. I like that is is compact, looks modern and works well but it takes a little bit of getting used to compared to the motorized blow dryers.

First of all I was so impressed with the packaging and quality of the product along with instructions of how to get to the manufacturing company if you have and issue.
Light weight and great drying power. There are several heat and cool settings which is so helpful for setting a style. If you have struggled with heavy cumbersome dryers buy this one. It’s a great value you wont be dissapointed.
