Some of the comments for this clipper, regarding the supposed clipper noise, are crazy. I’ve had three Wahl clippers including the Color Pro and the Elite Pro; those are indisputably loud clippers. I have two Remingtons, including the Shortcut Pro, that are very quiet. This Conair Lithium Ion Cordless is much more quiet than the Wahl clippers, barely putting out more humm than my Remingtons. What’s better than the cordless feature is the light weight of the clipper; it is easy to hold and manage. The included attachment combs are, indeed, cheap; I’ve not used them. My Remington comb attachments do not fit on this clipper but my Wahl #10 comb (1¼ inch) snaps on tight; so do my Speed-O Guides. So, one big advantage of this clipper is you can attach a Wahl comb and have comb lengths up to 1½ inch, and have a clipper that is easier to clean than the Wahl. The taper lever has 4 or 5 click stops, not the 55 as printed on the box, and it works well. Overall, mainly because of the taper lever and the snug fit of the Wahl combs and the Speed-O combs, this clipper comes close to being an all-around functional clipper for a DIYer. Only so close, because too many users report reliability problems. Therefore, best to use this clipper as a touch-up clipper, as a backup or solely for the #10, #12 Wahl combs without the problems of the Wahl clipper itself. I’m definitely not going to part with either of my Remingtons but neither of those has a taper lever.

I love these hair clippers! I might be exaggerating in my title, because I’m pretty sure that some barber somewhere has better clippers than these, but they’re definitely the best hair clippers I’ve ever used. I shave my entire head about three times a month, and I’ve had it for over a year, so I use this a lot.
As you can see in my video, head shaving is a precise art, that requires the shaver to go into all sorts of nooks and crannies around my ears, nose, and mouth. It’s kind of bulky for detail work, but it works well for my bald head. So, it’ll definitely work for any hair or body part that you need to shave.
And, everything about this shaver is high quality, even the extensions, which I don’t use since I’m bald. I love the lithium ion battery, which means that I don’t have to worry about this shaver getting a battery memory, like my last one.
This shaver lasts about 5-6 head shaves before it needs to be recharged, which is about 5 times longer than my last clippers. I highly recommend them!

So I made the decision to start cutting my own hair and went with this product after reading the reviews. I never cut hair before so after I got this, I watched a couple YouTube videos and started hacking away. The results… Surprisingly good! I felt like a professional… Okay, maybe not a professional but it looked just as good to me as it does when I go to the barber. I do keep my hair pretty short so that makes it easier to cut and fade.
My favorite feature about this product is the taper control which allows you to change the length of the blade from a 0 to about a 1 without having to add or remove any blade attachments. It also adds “in-between” sizes to all of the attachments which helps with fading.
It comes with everything you need, plenty of attachments, carrying case, blade oil, instructions, etc. The battery life is great and the quick charge feature definitely comes in handy. Not having to deal with a wire is always nice as well.
It is a solid product and seems of great quality. I’ve used it for a few months and haven’t had any issues. I would definitely recommend this product. I think the price is great is well… I’ve already paid for the item in the amount I’ve saved from not going to the barber so I can’t complain there.

This is the second Conair clipper I’ve purchased. The first one lasted over 7 years so I had no hesitation buying another. Great value for the money!

I first wrote a great review. However after 11 months it started making a strange noise and stooped working. Seller said to contact Conair. Conair said I had to print receipt, write and print a letter go to the post office and pay to mail it to them. Once they receive it. They would test and send me another one within 14 days.
This is too much trouble and way too long. Cost to ship is over 20$ and I still have to buy a new one because I can’t wait a month (time for shipping and their process) to cut my hair and beard.
I can buy a new one with just one click and have with free shipping in 2 days. So I’ll just buy another brand that hopefully last longer.
Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this product or you risk having to buy a new one soon. Guaranty like this is useless.
