For the price I expected more. It did not do much for my hair, and the itch was still strong. It smells really strong too.

OMG. This product is amazing. It smells so good and it leaves your hair nice and soft without being greasy at all. I was a little hesitant when I saw the instructions calls for applying 10 pumps on your scalp/hair because it felt like using so much leave-in product would surely leave your hair looking as if there is residue in it. Also, the cooling effect is unbelievably soothing- perfect product to use during the summer because it makes your scalp tingle. Whether you shower at the end of the day or in the morning when you wake up, it’s super refreshing. I highly recommend and will continue to buy this product from now on out. If you’re on the fence about the price, take a leap of faith and get this trial size so you can get a feel for it- it’s so worth it.

I’ve had severe dry scalp for years now. Like after a shower and drying my hair, my scalp would already be shedding and peeling. I’ve spent a lot of money trying different things from Briogeo to Oribe to Kiehls to Aveda… thousands of dollars on hair care over the years. It’ll work for the first couple weeks and then back to dry scalp. I have to constantly change my shampoo and conditioner due to this so have never had the chance to finish any of the products…
When I first tried this product, it didn’t work. I was still getting dry scalp with the 3 step process. I loved the smell of it though so continued to use it. After a couple weeks of use, I noticed that I was less flaky. Then after a month, no dry scalp at all— in DECEMBER when my scalp is typically super dry!! Now we’re at the end of January and barely any dry scalp! I was so amazed at the results even my fiancé had mentioned it to me. I’m almost done with the set that I bought and I have to say… I will def continue using this product. It may have not had the fastest results but it definitely has lasting results!

Have had an itchy scalp for months. Nothing visible to explain why – it’s just itchy and driving me crazy. This product works to relieve the itch if used often. The leave-in scalp treatment is for use between washes. It works great – cools my scalp and stops the itching. Product claims to increase hair thickness – I haven’t noticed that is does but it wasn’t my reason for buying. I bought it to stop the itching, and it does.

My scalp can be super finicky so I decided to buy an expensive set of shampoo and conditioner. I heard really good things about it, however I was extremely disappointed. The shampoo dried out my hair but also left the sticky residue behind. The conditioner doesn’t condition well. And by the time I was done using all three products, it felt like there was just as much buildup on my scalp as before.
The only good thing I can say about this product is it does smell good.
I would not recommend this product.

I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks and I’ve noticed a huge difference. My hair feels fuller, softer, and my curls frizz way less. My scalp feels hydrated and clean. Haven’t had any flaking issues. Recently, I was able to wear a dark colored shirt and not one flake was on it by the end of the night. A Christmas miracle. Worth trying if you have issues too.

It is more expensive than what I would like but the smell is amazing. My daughter has super oily hair, and somehow used to get dry scalp that was always super itchy. Switched her to Nioxin and she has a healthy, happy scalp that smells amazing. The only negative is the price. The bottles are smaller than an average bottle of shampoo from the store, I’d say about the size of a normal bottle of hair spray. I was expecting more for the money, Yes I know they say oz on it but lets be honest, sometime math doesn’t math ha

I’ve dealt with constant scalp irritation for years now. Sometimes it was even painful. The dermatologist was no help and I knew with winter coming it was only going to get worse so I needed to try something new. I’ve tried dozens of products and this is the first to do literally anything to help me. I’m about 90% better at this point and I owe most of that to this product. I’ll be buying this for a long time. It smells amazing and despite other reviews I don’t think it’s too strong at all. I’d use it even if it smelled like garbage at this point because of how much it’s helped me. I do wish the shampoo lathered more but it’s manageable. Buy it, seriously.

I guess I had high expectations because I was disappointed. Nioxin didn’t provide the relief I was hoping for for my dry, irritated scalp. Other shampoos have caused my scalp to be miserable and I was hoping Nioxin would really help. It stripped my color pretty quickly but I didn’t really get the scalp relief I was hoping for.

It definitely works to soothe and not in the tingling minty way either, which I like. Didn’t completely rid my hair and scalp of flakes, but it did reduce them without making my roots greasy. Been using for about three weeks, don’t think I will be repurchasing as I think I might need something a little bit more specific, but I would recommend this for someone needing to soothe an itchy scalp.

Just used this for the first time today. Smells great, my hair feels light and clean, even is good at keeping long fine hair from tangling. Plus scalp feels fresh afterwards, not itchy or dry anymore. I would recommend this. I’ve used Nioxin products for years, but this is the first time for this scalp treatment package. Wish it was in a bigger size, but it’s more like a sample size for the shampoo and conditioner. The serum is the same size as other Nioxin serums. Lighter fresh smell and light texture than other Nioxin products.
