I have been blow-drying my curls for the last 6 years and finally decided it was time to invest in an upgrade after my current blow dryer died. This is the best diffuser I have used; I specifically enjoy that it has two abilities for targeting roots and then targeting ends. I noticed a huge difference in my curl definition and a shorter drying time.

I understand this is a refurbished item. There was some show of very minor use in the product, but all the accessories looked brand new. The dryer was in excellent condition. Shipping box was in good condition as well. Came with the original packaging and all instructions. The dryer was missing some smaller accessories that come with it like a cleaning comb and some sectioning clips. But this was a non-issue for me. Given that this is a refurbished item. I feel like some steps were missed and quality control. The dryer does not come on at all. And should never have been sent out to someone else.. Just to cover all my bases in case, I was making some mistake I did refer to the instruction manual. And tried all of the troubleshooting. The outlet works fine. The dryer didn’t work when I tried it in another outlet. The light on the power cord isn’t coming on none of the lights the dryer doesn’t come on. I requested an exchange and they will send me a new one will update when that one comes in.

I paid $100 for this blow dryer. It only worked for four months before it started having issues. While I originally like the drying power, the cord is very large and cumbersome making it difficult to travel with. After only 4 months it has lost it’s originally blowing power and shuts off every 2-5 minutes while in use. I contacted the seller and they said they could not help me. I would highly recommend not purchasing this product from the seller.

I have been using my blow dryer for the past few years, mostly with the diffuser attachment. I had heard about the Shark dryer before but didn’t want to spend the money on it.
I ended up purchasing a Shark one and it was really good! And then I got this one on a great deal and am SO glad I did.
It is even more intuitive and dries my hair SO fast. The diffuser attachment that allows the prongs to go up and down is magical and gives my curls volume and lift. The diffuser head is also very large so you can get a lot of hair in it. It cut down my drying time by about 10 minutes.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. I would never need the brush attachment but the nozzle one is also really good. I also love that depending on the attachment, the blow dryer will change the speed and heat level automatically so ensure no damage to your hair.

Just like my Dyson vacuum that fizzled out after two years, got a Shark vacuum and loved it. When I saw that Shark came out with this dryer I was wanting for my Dyson dryer to fizzle out. It was starting to go. Found this refurbished one, thought I’d give it a whirl. I can’t explain how much the difference between the two are. I was shocked in the best ever. I’ve had it three weeks and my entire staff now has one too.

Before I start the review I will say that I’m keeping the hair dryer. I didn’t need a hair dryer but when I saw this renewed Shark for over half off the original price I had to try it. First off, this thing is loud. I used it to diffuse my curly hair tonight and I had to turn it way down to dry the front of my hair because it hurt my eardrums. It did what it’s supposed to do on my curly hair. The real test will be when I straighten it to see how my hair looks and feels. But I already know it might be a bit of an issue because it’s heavy. It’s larger than it appears in photos too. On the positive side it’s powerful and hot.
Update: I finally used this to blow dry my hair straight and the weight of it ended up not being an issue because it dried my hair faster than any other blow dryer ever has. I have lots of blow dryers and none have performed like this one on drying time. it was still loud but using the concentrator kept it from hurting my eardrums. I’m happy with the purchase.

I hate to say it. I bought it for my son- and I tried it out- as all mothers should. And I think I like it better than my Dyson. If/when my Dyson dies- I’m replacing it with a Shark.
