I am happy I did not let the reviews deter me from this purchase. I bought 12 and i will be buying more after I write this review. I have washed and dried them several times. It’s great as a cutting or a chemical cape.
I write reviews because i depend on them when i am trying to decide so i hope this helps you. These capes are very affordable, light weight especially for my clients going through menopause. No one as asked me to remove the cape because they are hot.

It’s important to note, these capes are not going to be as heavy-duty as the capes you’d by one of for the same price. However, considering you get several of them, they seem like they’ll do the trick. They do have a vinyl/waterproof side as well. I haven’t used them yet, but I’m happy with there overall appearance & quality so far, I’m hoping they’ll wash nicely & continue to repel water & color.

They came with a fishy smell it took to washes for smell to go away BUT the capes are pretty good so far.

I run a salon and wanted bulk high quality black capes. I really like these. They are soft lightweight nylon. Adjustable snap closure. I really like the length, they are just long enough to provide nice coverage of client. They are durable as well. I wash them alot and they look brand new. I look to have them for many years to come.

Like em! But maybe not good enough protection for chemical services. They are water resistant, not waterproof. But I’m buying more just for styling capes.
