I have very long waist length hair and this towel is JUST long enough to perfectly contain and wrap all my hair. See my attached photo. If you hair is longer, you’ll probably want a larger towel. It does an excellent job of absorbing water and I absolutely notice a huge difference in dry time using this towel vs using a regular bath towel. Not only does it dry a lot faster but my hair dries noticeably smoother and has less frizz (in my photo comparison, my hair has been completely just air dried, no tools or heat involved).
I find using the attached elastic to tuck the end of the towel into keeps the towel held too loosely. I prefer using my standard hair towel method of folding the edge of the towel up along the entire length and then tucking the end of the towel underneath to keep a nice, tight fit to my head. Photo attached, as I think an image explains that better than my words. I do like using the elastic to hang it on a hook to dry, so it still serves a purpose for me.
The scrunchie works well to hold my hair in a bun, wet or dry. The headband I personally like to use under my shower cap on days when I don’t wash my hair when I shower. It really helps keep any humidity from sneaking in under my cap and keeps my hair looking nicer for longer. It is a little tight though and doesn’t have a ton of stretch, so if you have a larger head you may find it really hard to get on and uncomfortable to wear.
While I really like this set, I do think it’s a bit pricey. While the microfiber towel does work really nicely, I don’t really notice a big difference between it and my older $35 hair towel. You can buy these pieces individually for less – so you’re definitely paying a bit extra for it to be bundled and nicely packaged. This comes in a really cute box and if you’re looking for a gift and/or just don’t mind paying a little extra, this is an excellent option.

Foremost, the packaging is stunning! The sturdy tube design is unconventional and so cool! And the “window” style top is a really great way to show the customer the color of the set as well as how fluffy this collection is. I didn’t even have to open the tube to know this was going to be incredible!
Now, when you begin to unpack everything, you will see how heavenly this feels. Very singular … very like nothing else! And, the part I was most excited about was the scrunchie! So, I often wash my super long hair and then put it in a scrunchie to dry because that exaggerates my waves … the downside is how long it takes to dry! Here, this scrunchie does double-duty! So cool!
The towel is equally as soft and incredible! It is great way to keep your wet hair off your clothes (and to avoid blow drying your hair). There is no doubt that this dries your hair quickly (and without the damage of heat drying). Really nice!

This Core Collection, along with their Super Hero Microfiber Hair Towel, serves as my introduction to the VOLO brand.
This set comes with the brand’s signature Hero Towel, Spa Headband, and Towel Scrunchie. All are made of a luxuriously soft and plush microfiber fabric that is said to dry hair faster and without breakage. I chose the “Salt White” color and it’s a beautiful creamy neutral that is well represented in the description photos.
This set is very functional. The hair towel is a great size for wrapping up my hair after a shower. The elastic tab keeps the end of the towel in place – a terrific feature. The headband and scrunchie are excellent for keeping my hair back during my skincare and makeup routines.
This Core Collection set comes beautifully packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube. It makes for a really nice presentation and is great for gifting.
This set is a wonderful addition to my self-care routine and makes me feel very pampered. Highly recommend!

This product is an absolute must-have if you struggle with delicate, dry, and/or frizz prone hair. My hair checks out all these categories and cannot handle being towel dried due to the hair loss and damage it causes. This set has been a lifesaver. It comes with a highly absorbent, soft trio that includes a hair wrap, headband, and scrunchie. Each securely holds and dries wet hair without causing any pulling or breakage. The wrap fits firmly around the head and will soak up all excess water while in place, eliminating the need to wring or ruffle the hair. The headband similarly sits well around the hairline without tugging against it and will comfortably catch any dripping water. It works well on its own or can be coupled with the scrunchie to safely secure wet hair without any discomfort. Well-worth the investment.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. When she opened it, it was obviously used and sent back out. There were black stains all over the towel. It was also missing the headband and scrunchie. Do not buy this unless you want a used product.

I was disappointed w the towel as my daughter complained the towel was heavy when I wrapped up her hair and caused it to pull at her crown. I also felt the same way when I used it. She has long hair and I have medium length. She prefers the lightweight turbo twist.

This isn’t my first product from Volo, I own two of there hair wraps other than this one that comes in this set. Obviously if I’m getting another one I am a fan!
These are definitely pricy, but the quality and materials reflects that price in my opinion. I don’t feel like I’m paying more because I’m f a name brand, I feel like it’s priced according to the quality and the materials used.
You get there signature hair wrap, a headband, and a scrunchie, all made out of the same material that they use for there headbands. It’s a super soft and really absorbent material that washes well even after 30 plus washes it looks just like it did when I got it (well maybe there’s a few fuzz balls on them but that’s about it!) All of the products are great quality and I would highly recommend!
