So I purchased from two different sellers. I kept this one. It has a lower temperature setting of 160. That is ideal for curling the fine hairs by the face. The one thing I am not entirely a fan of is the “comb” like teeth on the wand. I find I have to brush my hair first otherwise it seems to tear the hair as it passes through the wand. It heats up fast and love the simple carrying case. As I do not plan to use it except for touch ups and travel I cannot comment on the length of a charge.

This is a great hair straightener that I purchased with the intent on using for travel. It is small and compact, comes in a nice caring case with a charging cord. The straightener has a case over the heating element, which slides off for use. Before I was able to test it out for travel, my 10-year-old daughter found it and decided it was the perfect size for her. A little straightener for a little lady. She charged it in her bathroom and has been using it every day before school to straighten her hair and give herself a polished look. I love that this lets her be independent while also using a safe hair tool.
Recommend for travel or for growing girls.

I ordered this flat iron for traveling. Because it is USB rechargeable, I don’t have to worry about where plugs are in a hotel room and I have no worries about the voltage of the country I am in. It recharges quickly enough, though in order to keep to a schedule, when traveling I recharge it after using it since it cannot be used while charging.
The cover for this flat iron is great. It makes sure the ‘safety switch’ is on: when the cover on, this device cannot accidentally turn on, for example, in my luggage. The cover protects other items from heat if I don’t have time to cool the flat iron down completely before packing it up. And the cover also makes the device easy to pack since the 2 sides are always closed, not getting caught in something else.
For me, this iron works well. I did not expect it to work as well or as efficiently as my at-home hair tools, especially since the flat iron plates are shorter than my at-home model. But when traveling I go pretty minimalist with hair — get rid of frizz, put a bit of wave on the ends—basically just make sure my hair isn’t weird. I can both flatten and create waves with this, though to do lots of waves in my long, thick hair would take a long time with this. I wondered about the comb-like edges, and it turns out they work fine. I need to make sure my hair is combed anyway, and once my hair is combed, those edges work nicely. This is a great travel flat iron. A nice benefit is that I can also throw this in my bag if I haven’t finished styling my hair before I need to leave for an event. It is a bit heavier than I expected—I always try to make my luggage as light as possible—but the advantages outweigh (yes, I meant the pun) the added ounces. I recommend this flat iron.

Bought this for a trip abroad for my fine, straight has-no-style-growing-out hair so I wouldn’t look completely frumpy while in Spain. Observations-1) it is surprisingly heavy. 2) I found I needed it to charge overnight every night because the charge didn’t always last two days 3) It stores easily and you can close it as soon as you are finished and toss it in your bag b/c the case will contain the heated part away from whatever is in your bag or suitcase. 4) It doesn’t get really hot but it does what I need it to do.
I have short, fine straight hair that I want to kinda bend a bit so that it has some body and doesn’t look like a fright wig. It doesn’t get too hot which, for me, is fine because my hair is bleached, bends easily and I don’t want to over-fry it. I don’t know how well it would straighten thick curly hair, however. If your hair is already straightened and you want to freshen that up, it is probably a good choice for you. It heats up quickly but it didn’t hold a charge for as long as I expected for the price. I travel a lot, so I expect to use it a lot. Let’s see how long it lasts!

This travel flat iron is great if you are someone who needs the convenience of styling on the go (think, at the gym, quick touchups before a night out on the town…to transform a work “do” a new “do”. ) This is battery operated, charges with a usb c. It heats up in about a minute. It is small, so it fits in a work bag or purse easily. Just take the safety cover off, lift up the safety switch to on position, then depress the on button for 3 seconds, let it heat up, and “kapow!”, you can style with it.
Something to note…to operate this, make sure it is charged before you use it (you cannot charge this and use it at the same time).
I have the pink color and it is a pretty pearlized pink. The safety cap keeps it clean and secure in between uses. I really like how convenient it is to use!
I probably don’t use this like most people use this…I am using this to “volumize” my hair instead of straightening hair, since I have normally straight hair. (I did not test this on curly or wavy hair, so I can’t speak to how it works for that, but for my purpose it works great.) The hair is easily grasped and held in securely with a gripper, so you can style sections, a little at a time.
There are three temperature settings for different types of hair. My hair is fine, so the lowest setting was best. I don’t have really thick hair so the iron works for a few uses on one charge, but your mileage may vary if you do have thicker hair or style your hair for longer amounts of time. (I am using this more for touch-ups while out, and not full styling scenarios.)
If you want a travel iron that will fit in your purse, work or gym bag, and want to refresh your style quickly and easily, even in your car, this definitely can check off those boxes!
