I purchased this cause I have really short hair that needs to be straightened. I have the larger version so I wanted to purchase a smaller one because now I have a pixie haircut. It works as intended. Hair does not get caught in the flat iron, but I wish I could control the temperature. The flat iron has a wide body where the plates sit and it can be really difficult to reach the roots.

I recently got a straight hair perm, so I don’t have a need to straighten all my hair. However, I do like to style my bangs differently and they require a flat iron to slightly curl it. I figured I’d get the compact/travel size because I will only use it for my bangs and it’s cheaper than the T3 flat iron. This compact flat iron only has one heat setting (I don’t know the actual temperature, but it’s very hot) and due to the high heat, it really is a one pass flat iron. When you plug in the flat iron, it’s really quick to heat up and takes probably 30 seconds. The light will flash and when it’s ready, the light will stay on. I’m excited to actually travel with this flat iron because it’s so small!

Love this little nugget! I got this mini sized flat iron for travel. I travel at least once a month for medical treatment, unfortunately, and I keep a suitcase packed with the essentials at all times. I don’t do much with my hair while I’m traveling but it’s nice to have a flat iron for touch ups or if we go out to dinner the night before treatment. I finally decided to get a travel version instead of remembering to take my regular flat iron each trip.
This flat iron was by far the right choice! It’s small and convenient in terms of pack-ability. I LOVE the little cap that comes with it and acts as a container for the iron – that keeps it protected but doesn’t add a ton of bulkiness when packing like a full pouch would. And to my surprise, using the iron didn’t feel a whole lot different than my full sized one. I was able to do touch ups (in depth, not just fly-bys) on a full head of hair with the flat iron on my hair one night with relative ease! And what I liked the most about it was that it handled the tiny pieces around my face flawlessly. Because this iron is so much slimmer than a normal sized iron, it can get those hard-to-reach pieces so much easier. I’m honestly tempted to buy a second iron to keep at home for that reason!!!

I bought this hair straightener with auto world voltage for a trip to Ireland a few weeks ago. It was so nice to not have to take a converter with me and worked perfectly on my power strip that I used for my other electronic devices. It was Ireland in October and it rains a lot and is very humid but this hair straightener worked like a dream on my hair! I have long thick hair and I thought the small size of it would be a problem, but it was not at all. It worked quick and easy. I love the cover that fits over it, which provides a good protection for travel. I’m so happy with this purchase!

As a “one pass” iron, I thought I could quickly give a quick pass of the iron thru my hair. This could have been discerned by me thru reading the reviews, but unfortunately, I failed to follow thru with that. My gaff.
If you have fine, fragile hair, this is not for you.

I love T3 products as company in general but I was not happy with this purchase. I was looking for travel flat iron for an upcoming trip and chose this one. It was a bit smaller than I hoped. I plan to use it for straight hair and for curls. It straightens well but does not curl hair well at all. Normally, I keep my flat irons on highest temp level this iron only allows for one heat setting and it completely fried my hair. I tried to return it but missed the deadline by one day.

Beautiful design. Sleek. Well made. Smooth and doesn’t pull hair. Heats up in an instant. Small enough for travel…have seen smaller. Will absolutely fry your hair if you’re not extremely careful (and, even then, it still may). Pairs nicely with my matching travel T3 dryer.
There should definitely be a temperature dial on this. ***Insane idea to sell these things without one.*** I would buy another if they resigned to include this feature.
Not to TMOH, but I’m pretty good with the hair tools and I’m always nervous when I use this beauty. I like to dump the excess heat to a damp towel if it’s been on for more than a minute before a pass.

Great size for travel. It heats up quickly and worked well with an adapter in the EU. Wish it had a way to adjust the temperature.

I travel quite a bit for work, and on days when I need a little touch-up or a quick smoothing out of my hair, this iron delivers big time. The compact size fits well in my carry-on luggage, and the heat-resistant cover means I can stow and go in a hurry. It’s also been an “edge saver” for me, allowing me to extend my relaxers by a couple weeks before having to chemically treat my hair. The compact size allows me to get really close to my roots, and extends my hairstyle perfectly.
Other reviewers have mentioned this as well, but I think it’s worth repeating again. This iron gets HOT HOT HOT, and with no heat setting it means that you really should (a) use an ample amount of your favorite heat protecting product to keep your hair from frying like a Thanksgiving turkey, or (b) if 400+ degrees is just too much, try heating up the flatiron, then unplug it to get the temperature to drop to an acceptable level (and yes, you may have to do this a couple times if you have a lot of hair to work with). The smooth plates make styling easy, so one pass should absolutely do the trick, even for super coarse and resistant hair like mine. Even though I have very short hair, I see this working equally well for those of you with longer tresses.
I’m a bonafide T3 addict, and this was a welcome addition to my other T3 products that I use regularly. This is a wonderful tool for those of you who desire consistent results, superior straightening, portability, and durability. Give it a try!

I am going on a trip soon to the Caribbean. And I’ve been looking for a mini straightener to take along in my carry on luggage. I ran to Amazon after seeing this mini straightener reviewed on Tiktok. I had bought a cheap one from here and returned it (different brand). I was nervous to buy another mini, especially since this one was a lot more money. But it was the best decision! The flashing light lets you know when its at temp and ready to use. No need to guess. It heats up so quick and it’s dual voltage. Which was key for traveling. It’s just as amazing as my super expensive straightener. One pass and hair is silky smooth! I was blown away at how well it straightened my hair! I’m very very happy I took the risk and now have a much lighter and compact straightener for on the go!

This flat iron is a bit pricier than some, and completely worth it. The performance is excellent, and it feels better for my hair overall. I love the size for travelling in general storage. Would highly recommend.
