I use this shampoo couple times a week, it takes the orangey color away and it smells good, it keeps my hair shiny, and yet healthy, even tough the color is dark it does not leave it in the hair after rinse!
The combination with the conditioner is great, I don’t have to use an extra product to keep it soft, frizzy, and manageable.
I’m sticking with this one hopefully out there you guys don’t waste money on other products because this is the one!

I have always loved this shampoo…but good grief- what is up with this packaging? It’s not going to stop me from buying this shampoo, but it sure is annoying.
Anyway- I have used this shampoo for a long time. I am allergic to most shampoos and the added fragrances, but not this one. It has a light scent, but it doesn’t bother me at all.

I have arthritis and tried everything to open the cap. I literally had to cut the bag open and then pour everything into an empty REAL Shampoo container with the access stored in a mason jar. The product is fine but I doubt I’ll buy it again For that reason. I’m tired of needing a sledgehammer and a machete to open brand new packages (eye roll).

I have used this shampoo for over 3 years each time I wash my hair. I leave it on for 10 minutes each use and it works wonderfully! It is a bit drying however, using the AG moisturizing conditioner works wonders!! Try them in combination!!

I bought this on a recommendation from my hair dresser. This works like MAGIC – I was skeptical at first. The brassy blonde colour from bleaching disappears after even one wash (and I have naturally black hair so we get the worst brassy colour with this natural hair colour). I have the conditioner as well, and together they truly are a dynamic duo. I wash my hair every 2 to 3 days. (I would recommend using this every third wash. In between, use a sulfate-free shampoo like the coconut shampoo/conditioner by Oraganix to minimize reverting back to the brassy colour.) If you’re looking for a little bit of extra UMPH in the colour for a special night out etc then use it 2 washes in a row. Worth the price I would say!! Works like a charm. There are many others out there – this is the best and you will never see the purple as dark as this one.

It took 3 years to get ash blond gray hair… This is what I use to keep the brass out… And keep my hair a cool color… I bought the shampoo an conditioner… I use it like once a week… It doesn’t leave your hair feeling dried out. I also have fanola purple shampoo and use that once or twice a month… It’s better than all of ulta’s purple shampoos but it’s harsh so I counteract it with olaplex to keep my hair healthy… With all of the shampoos I notice that if you put it on dry hair until saturated an sit for 10-15 min it comes out nicer…

Love AG products because they are gentle on your hair and is sulfate free. Was really glad to find in bulk/less packaging = less garbage. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because not sure if the packaging is recyclable. I have the color save conditioner and trust that the shampoo will produce the same results. Clean, manageable, great smell.

I only buy cruelty-free products, and this shampoo is great, especially formulated for my previously grey hair which now shines silvery. I just love it, have been buying it for about 5-6 years, will not change. They also make a great conditioneer.

Great toning shampoo for white hair. I do mix it into my other regular shampoo to cut the purple a little bit. I wouldn’t want the formula to be changed, however, as it’s simply perfect. Doesn’t over dry like many other toning shampoos have the tendency to do. The conditioner works well, too!
