I’ve tried to save money by trying to find a substitute for this. There just isn’t one. The closest was Peepers Plus. But although it claims to have tea tree, I detect no tea tree smell at all, and it’s soapy slippery and I end up having it slip out of my hands. It was acceptable, but not that much cheaper and I may as well stick with the Optase. I know I can just wash my eyes whenever I brush my teeth, but my regimen is already pretty complicated (I mean, seriously, it’s a four times a day regimen of stuff to do, plus eye drops whenever I think of it, at least every 2 hours!). Plus antibiotics. Plus taking fish oil. I almost told the doctor to give me a break and go straight to the LipiFlow, but I think the regimen habit is going to be helpful.
Maybe Optase can offer a bargain size that’s 120 sheets? That would last me two months if I don’t ruin any of them by dropping it or whatever. My eyes used to hurt so much, now that the pain is less, I can’t believe how much pain I was ignoring every day. I feel like this should be available for HSA or could be optionally prescribed so people could get it cheaper. The eyelid regimen is not exactly a picnic, and these are pretty much the only wipes that offer a real shortcut. To me they’re medical.

This wipes have been a life saving for my son. My son suffers from Styes in his eyes all the time!! His Ophthalmologist recommended this wiles for us so we went and try them out. He uses them every morning and right before bedtime. Every time we see a Stye is ready to pop out we immediately use them, we have noticed that they stop the stye from growing bigger and getting more painful and ugly. Also my son tends to get crusty on his eyelashes all the time so this have also help to clean. Yes a little expensive but i rather pay then to see my son in pain.

Loved the fact they clean so efficiently and that the tea tree did not irritate my eyes at all but the price is prohibitive. They should make wipes half the size as no one needs that whole extensive wipe for both eyes at that price, on a regular basis.

It happens all the time when I put too much sunscreen on. It makes my eyes burn if just a little sunscreen gets close enough to my eyes. These wipes are great for just lightly wiping the area around my eyes and then the burning sensation goes away. YOU DON’T WIPE YOUR EYES, just the area around them. And they do the trick!
