This was dermatologist recommended for dry lips 20y ago. Once I started using it 20y ago, I have never stopped. I test out other brands to see if anyone is better, but this is still the best. It’s the cheapest that actually works. I Aquaphor in all different forms, but purchase the lip ones with a bit of sunblock specifally for lips and it’s worked like a charm. I’m middle aged and you would never know by looking at my lips…the rest of me is another story. Lol

I love this stuff for lips but saw that J Lo’s makeup artist dabs some of this under baggy eyes and then adds her make up and wow does it ever moisturize and hide any darkness! What a trip! A lil goes a long way ! Solid Make up hack for under eyes and equally awesome on lips

So I’ve tried maybe 3-4 different aquaphor products. The original healing ointment works incredibly. However I’ve noticed a pattern where if I use any of the aquaphor lip products- lip repair stick, lip repair, lip protectant with spf, sos lip care (found this in asia), all of them made my lips worse. Burning sensation, redness, severe flaking. It heals the instant i switch back to the normal ointment. I’m not sure why, and it could be a personal allergy. If you read the ingredients it’s a different formulation. Just because it’s the aquaphor name don’t think it’s the same product. Cheers, good luck.

This was recommended by my dermatologist. However, I found it doesn’t stay on well. It is gone so quickly that I don’t think it helps my lips as much as some of the thicker balms in a tube. I wouldn’t purchase again
