Some people have complained about the quality of the bamboo bowl. It’s a thin little bamboo bowl to mix your face mask in; It’s not like you’re serving dinner in it. It does what its purposed to do. I wish the scoop had measuring lines on it, and to be a little greedy, I wish there was a second scoop for you to put the liquid in with. So I could leave the dry one in the container at all times.
I love this clay mask. I like that it’s not going to expire for four years. I’m not wasting it. It says you can get 10 to 12 mask out of it, but I think I’m going to get a lot more, especially with the handy little measuring tools. I like that if I just wanna do a mask for myself, I just make a tiny amount or if my sister is here and she wants to do one too. I just double it up and then we both sit around like weirdos.
The brush that they give you to put it on with is nice and soft . It’s really easy to apply. Make sure if you get it on your eyebrows that you wipe them off while it’s wet. Trust me.
To remove, the best way is to take a warm washcloth and place it over your entire face. A couple times until the clay is damp again. It’s much easier to remove that way. You also want to wash your bowls and tools immediately. Don’t let this stuff dry.
Because it is doing a detox on your face, you might find that it will make your skin red and you might feel tingly or burn-y For about 20 minutes after you take it off. I like to put moisturizer on immediately and that seems to tame the redness some. If you have really sensitive skin, this may not be for you. All I can say is you could try it. Only leave it on for about five minutes though. I have pretty tough skin. I guess. I leave it on for 20 minutes or until it’s completely dry.
I don’t think I can say enough good things about this! When I can see the bottom, I’ll be ordering more for sure!

I use the Aztec Indian Clay at least three times a week, and as a result, my skin remains moisturized.
For daily use, I pair it with Thayers alcohol-free hydrating rose petal toner with aloe vera, eliminating the need for additional moisturizing lotions. I rated this product five stars for its moisturizing effect. Its ease of spreading is another five-star feature, facilitated by the wood-handled brush, which ensures even application to the face.
Considering sensitive skin, I appreciate that the product recommends apple cider vinegar for optimal benefits. For those with sensitive skin like mine, water is a suitable alternative. This product is amazing. You can actually feel your skin tightening as the mask tightens. Once the mask is fully dry if you move your face it is slightly painful and the clay can be peeling off in small pieces but that hurts a bit if you pull it. Not the easiest to wash off but definitely worth the money. I recommend using the apple cider vinegar with it you get better results then mixing with just water. You can feel your face pulsate a bit as it dries it’s really cool. Mix with a whisk so it is smooth otherwise you will have chunky mask that’s just not right
