I first came across this soap at an Indian grocer near me… I fell in love with it! I only order it here on Amazon because that store has been out the last few times I’ve been by. (I buy 3-4 at a time and can’t be caught without at least one on hand.) Lather this soap up and bathe/shower with an African netted soap, and you’ll get the best, most refreshing clean you’ve ever felt. The smell is wonderful… clean, fragrant, herbal, and bright. The lather (especially when used with that African netted sponge) is soft, soothing, and rich. It’s made for sensitive skin and mild acne, so it should keep those monthly skin episodes to a minimum. It gets your skin fresh and thoroughly cleansed without stripping or irritating you (I have normal skin but the soap is so good, it should be the same for sensitive skin). However, if it does dry your skin a bit, use it as the first step of your shower routine — 1) this soap to cleanse/clarify, 2) whatever else you use, 3) a moisturizing body wash or bar (I like Dove’s new skincare infused line of bodywashes). This soap will stay in my routine as long as it remains in production.

I like that it has neem in it, but doesn’t really work for what it says. It seems like regular Ivory soap. I can’t tell a difference at all between the two other than bar color, and shape. The smell is really nice. I would have given it 5 stars if it worked more like a purifying soap. I don’t like companies barely adding an ingredient and calling it purifying just because they put a tiny micro-sized amount in it. Yes, Neem is absolutely amazing. But do not call this a purifying soap if it does no such thing. I was under the impression it would be more Neem than Ivory soap. Oh well. You win some, you lose some. I do still like the soap. Just don’t like to be misled.

I originally ordered a 6 pack of this soap and loved it so much I reordered 12 more. It has a light scrub to it and smells like kitchen lemon once it gets wet. Also the bars last a long time in the shower. Excellent product! 10/10

I like this soap. It smells similar to Irish Springs, would work for male or female, but leaves skin soft and with use I have noticed improvements to various spots, scars and bumps etc. I even started using it on my face recently, few times a week in shower.

I like it! I also like the price point for a 6-pk. Solid bar, as reviewers say, that doesn’t turn to mush. Also worth noting: It’s highly scented which is a bonus in a bathroom that also houses a cat litter box. As I walk up my stairs… there it is, that unmistakable green fresh scent of soap! ☘️
