I thought I would be a dark enough skin tone for this, but I am not. It’s darker than you think and has a pretty high coverage for a BB cream w/SPF. The SPF works fabulously! Make sure to let in skin it before wearing white/close shirt collars, etc. It felt very cakey on my oily, dehydrated skin. When I got very sweaty the sweat came to the surface but in droplets. My BB cream didn’t fall off or transfer. If you’re two or three shades darker than me, you might be able to get away with it. Otherwise, the white one would be okay I think. It might be just as thick, though. The sunscreen search has always been tough since I was a child, but no reactions to this. Straight spf with color. The photos the first one is trying to lift up my eyebrows after my face feeling cakey for weeks of use. I’m very pale, I just hope for a little bit of color but I look a completely different shade with this. The second is of my and my natural paleness. Great sunscreen/BB cream though! It’s just very thick and deeper than Fair-light. Don’t let the packaging fool you, but it’s great spf which I’ll let my honey use since he has darker skin than I do. I went back to Cetaphil oil control in the purple and white bottle and I’m glad I did. I prefer it to this and can get a bigger bottle. It’s not as great at fighting sweat though!

La piel queda suave y con color uniforme, nada brillosa ni grasosa. Perfecto para el uso diario, fue una excelente compra. Sí lo recomiendo.

    Sunscreen review

This sunscreen was recommended to me by a friend when I asked about mineral sunscreens that didn’t leave a white cast. I’m hispanic with a medium skintone, so this was important to me. My skin is combination leaning quite oily.

    Pros:
    – I love the way this sunscreen spreads and feels on the skin. It feels hydrating and has nice ingredients such as panthenol, squalane, shea butter and dimethicone.
    – Water and sweat resistant, which is important to me because I live in a very humid environment and walk outside a lot. It’s also nice to know I can wear this to the gym without it losing its effectiveness.
    – 100% mineral sunscreen. I switched from a chemical sunscreen that I loved because I wanted a sunscreen that would cover and protect the actives in my other skincare ingredients (vitamin c, retinoids, etc.). This also helps protect my skin after I exfoliate.
    – Zinc oxides! Really love this ingredient to help protect against visible light and help hyperpigmentation.
    – Hypoallergenic, oxybenzone free, alcohol free, oil free, dye free, fragrance free, vegan and cruelty free. I know these are quite important for many.
    – The price!
    – Oil skin friendly! However, I believe it to still be suitable for dry skin. I don’t think anywhere in the spectrum of skin dryness/oiliness people will feel left out.

    Cons:
    – Isn’t non-comedogenic. It doesn’t state to be anywhere in the bottle, and it has shea butter and a few silicones.
    – It won’t replace your foundation. It’s got some light coverage, so your hyperpigmentation will still show through this. It will help cover some redness though.
    – I wish this sunscreen came in more shades. It’s a nice match for me, although not perfect, but I know many people will feel left out. Still, kudos to Australian Gold cause they’re doing much better than other brands in this department.
    – Apply it before putting your clothes on or you’ll stain them (it’s washable though).
    – Very specific BUT: I use gel eye drops because I have very dry eyes, when the gel happens to run out of my eyes and stay and dry on my eyelids, it tends to peel/leave flakes. If I’m wearing this sunscreen, those flakes will remove it/have the color of the sunscreen and it’s quite obvious.

    Neutrals (depending on your preference):
    – Dries matte. I know some people prefer a glowy/dewy look.
    – In my particular case, when it’s still wet/just applied it looks a lot more different to my actual skintone, but once it dries it matches a lot better/is less obvious. So remember that the coverage you see in your mirror immediately after applying it isn’t exactly the way it’ll remain once dry.
    – Has a neutral undertone. I guess it was the best they could do because those of us who are warm or cool can get away with a little mismatch (and it’s honestly way better than a white cast).
    – I don’t have sensitive skin so I can’t speak for those who do.

Overall, it’s my favorite mineral sunscreen, and those friends of mine who have tried it have also loved it.

Just spent a week at the beach and was in the sun everyday, this stuff worked amazingly well. It says 80 minutes but it really lasts for days. I was in the ocean almost everyday and put this stuff on my legs and didn’t wash my legs with soap the first few days and it still provided protection. I usually get burned within an hour being in the sun, being that I have really light skin. I was surprised how long I could last on the beach and how many days it stayed on my legs with 1 very thin application and it still protected my skin from burning on day 3. The only place I was burned was at the top of my feet where I had sand stuck to my feet when I put on the sunscreen for the 1st time. In addition, this tint is awesome for people that glow when they go outside. It adds just a little tiny bit of tint to even out your skin and not look so ghostly white on the beach. I went in the ocean several times and this doesn’t wash off unless you scrub it off with a lot of soap. I purchased the medium tinted sunscreen even though my skin tone is nowhere near the color of tint medium is. When you rub it in evenly, it blends into the skin and doesn’t look odd, not your color or too tan. That is if you use just enough to spread it everywhere evenly and rub it in really well. If you use more and don’t rub it in very well, you could probably get a tan base if that is what you are looking for. Let it dry before putting anything on, its like makeup and gets on your clothes if it not dry. For the people that want a subtle tint where your legs haven’t seen the light of day in a long while, I recommend this color. This is perfect for going out to the beach or lake, it stays on very well and for a very long period of time and is a natural mineral sunscreen which is amazing. This company did a great job on this product. I used this on my body, not my face as my makeup already has a 50spf in it. I can’t tell you how it looks on the face. I am usually allergic to mineral makeup and I get hives. I tested this on my legs first and no reactions from the minerals like the mineral makeup I have used in the past. I then put it on the rest of my body and had no reactions, rash or hives. It did its job way better than expected. Would definitely purchase again. I purchased 2 bottles and used maybe a quarter size sunscreen on my entire vacation. A little goes a long way

That’s the best sunscreen I have ever used (and trust me when I say I have tried many!!).
I have oily skin and live in humid weather. Still, this sunscreen leave my skin feeling and looking matte.
As for the color, I had to mix fair and medium but then I get to my perfect skin tone.
Love it and don’t plan to change it anytime in the near feature.

Love this foundation. Very light but still gives coverage and also gives protection against the sun.It does come in different skin tones so check before ordering. If fair skinned make sure you order lightest shade.
