Love everything about this soap. Cleans so well, takes the extra oil off my nose, chin and forehead, smells so good. Doesn’t over dry either. Definitely recommend. Lasts a long time so good value.

This Soap it’s giant!. Will last a long time!. Smells wonderful, its aroma is not perfume smells like it’s the actual lavender. Scent does not linger for long, just in the shower and a little after, just a clean smell. Lathers up nicely! Non drying at all, not heavy or greasy. BTW It Works great for shaving. I bought one for husband and he loves it!. It’s just a comfort to use as it has shea butter. It’s Value for the money, I would say that 3 of regular soaps would make one of this. I would recommend. Will buy again!

Really fabulous soap bar with a sparkling citrus fragrance that fills the bathroom.
Very gentle on skin and not at all drying.
A fair price for the large 250g size and the noticeably high quality of the ingredients so worth it for a real touch of luxury!
All of the L’occitane ranges are some of the nicest products I’ve ever used and the fragrances are stunning. Team this up with the matching shower or bath wash and even a deodorant and you’ll feel and smell shower fresh all day long!

This creamy soap smells wonderful. Not cheap smelling. I have very dry skin I had no sensitivity to this product I would purchase again. Maybe expensive for soap but I really liked this lavender soap. Creamy didn’t leave my skin dried out or sticky.

I love my soap bar it came in a plastic sleeve safely without any crumbling or damaging. I got Lemon Verbena oh my it smells heavenly!. You can smell it even when inside the package, earthy, natural lemon verbena scent…I can’t wait to try it, I’m sure once I use it it’s even going to make me feel better!.
Update..After a few uses my skin feels silky smooth and moist. I’m so glad I did this purchase.

Yes, the price, at the time of this writing, is now $14 a bar. That feels stupid high (but in reality isn’t, as I’ll explain below). However, after years of using this particular soap, I wouldn’t change, and every time we stay somewhere else and have to use a different soap I wish I had this.
The scent and lather are nice, and it rinses well without drying, so you don’t have that greasy feel after using a body wash, for example. However, the two things that make this a good value relative to the obviously high price, in my opinion, are:
1. The bar is oversized. It is nearly twice the weight of other bars. There is just a lot more soap here.
2. It has the same characteristics all the way to the end. By that I mean, I’ve tried other bars, and it often seems like what is useful leaches out, and toward the end you have something that doesn’t lather or clean well. These soaps, for me, work right until the end.
Net, this will last a lot longer than other, cheaper bars.
Overall, a good value and a great experience despite the up-front price, but the price is getting close to the inflection point, even for a loyal user like me…

Picky about soap. Some fragrance is too strong while others makes the shower floor slippery. A soap like Dove for example just doesn’t work for me. Too drying. Yes, still need more moisture after shower, so apply OSEA.
Also prefer ones without harmful ingredients since we all get too many toxins no matter how careful or eat organic.
