This product is better at moisturizing my skin than the Jergen’s product AND it’s cheaper too! For someone who has dry skin issues, this would be a good product to try.

This product was ok. It smelled good, but didn’t make my skin as soft, as others I have used. The bottle was super hard to squeeze, to get the product out. I won’t buy it again. Price very good, but you get what you pay for!

Estando en la ducha me enjabono con mi jabon regular, lo retiro y una vez limpia la piel cierro la regadera y me pongo la nivea en todo el cuerpo, no en el rostro. Abro de nuevo la ducha y la retiro, me seco y salgo a vestirme. La piel esta humectada y con un aroma muy suavecito no fastidia el aroma porque es muy pero muy poco y eso me agrada. Gracias

I’m surprised in all these years not a lot of competition has popped up for ‘In Shower’ or ‘Wet Skin’ lotions. This is still my favorite for performance to price ratio. The Shea Moisture one came out a few years after this and I like it for me not worth spending the extra money.
In shower lotion really helps me keep up with moisturizing because it feels easier and faster to do, especially when it’s cold and I don’t want to step out of the shower without a robe on so on those days before in shower lotion I would just skip moisturizing a lot. Maybe it’s just mental but the most important thing is that it gets done.
This product replaced a shower oil I used to like that got discontinued. One problem with these kinds of products is I don’t want it to have a strong scent. That’s why even though I don’t see much performance difference between the Nivea lotions and even other brands, I would choose this one as my top. The scent is very subtle and adaptable.
My driest spots still get a bit dry when I’m indoors a lot, but I tend dry so that’s not surprising. A humidifier would probably help a lot with that. I just use some extra lotion at night when I think about it. Overall though it makes a big difference to not using lotion so it definitely works.

This is a wonderful product to help add moisture to your skin immediately following soap. It is light, absorbs nicely without any heavy weight or residue. The smell is light and not overpowering. Even great on my sensitive skin. I’ve had no negative responses to my skin with this product. However, if you are looking for a scent that lasts all day, this is not for you. For me this works great as the fragrance is so minimal that is doesn’t clash if I decide to use scented sprays or perfume.

I have a weird, extremely dry, easily irritable skin and Keratosis pilaris so it is hard for to get baby soft skin. And to be honest stuff like aveeno does not work on my skin it just feels like runny water or something of the sort. Usually I have to use thicker consistency creams/lotions or shea butter. I generally use Lubiderm and it does moisturizes my skin but during the winter with colder temperatures I have to apply it more often and honestly I am kind of lazy and I don’t particularly like having to lotion that often.
Nivea has always been a great brand for my skin especially their creamier formula so I was intrigued by this in shower lotion. At first I’m not going to lie but I thought this was some kind of gimmick that has you lotioning instead of washing with a body wash and was very confused (I don’t where that logic came from). But I watched a few YouTube videos and decided to get it.
So I have been using this for a few days now. What I can say right off the back is that if you’re lazy like me and hate having to dry off just to put lotion on, then this is perfect. All you do is take a normal shower( with body wash lol) and at the end usually where you’d reach for your towel to dry of, just lather yourself with the product. Then rinse it off and then pat your self dry (DO NOT RUB) and you are honestly set to put your clothes on.
Will this have your skin as smooth as a baby’s bum maybe but not if you have extremely dry skin especially not after the first use. It will however soften it up over time and will moisturize your skin. It is not sticky, flaky, oily or as heavy as a cream.
Now if you have Keratosis pilaris like me it will help a lot (make sure to add a little more on those extra rough spots). So far I have been using it daily without exfoliating my skin and it is already phenomenal on my skin (so I will probably update when I find that perfect exfoliant for me).
Last but not least is that The fragrance of this product is not too strong. It is potent enough to be noticed but not enough to be overbearing. This is great because usually I avoid strongly scented body wash and lotions because the fragrance and/or perfume levels are too much that it causes my Keratosis pilaris to flare up and drys the already barely existing life of my epidermis and not to mention causes irritation. So the soft lingering smell of cocoa butter is a plus for me.
