I needed this oil for my facial serum recipes. The bottle arrived in good condition, was never opened or used prior to delivery.
It has a fruity, floral scent with a warm, nutty undertone. The oil has hydrating, moisturizing properties vital for skin and hair.
This multipurpose oil can be used on skin, hair, and nails. Because it does not leave a greasy finish on skin, it’s ideal to use under makeup or even mix with foundation for a luminous sheen. A few drops is all you need.

Super dupe for more expensive Marula oils. Not sticky at all. Keeps my skin feeling very moisturized and locks in all my nighttime products. Doesn’t bother my hyper-reactive sensitive skin at all. Highly recommend if you’re new to Marula oil or if you have been using them for a while.

Muy bueno. Cantidad adecuada. Excelente relación precio calidad

I searched and searched brands/reviews before deciding on this brand/seller. I made sure to choose Amazon prime/free returns, because after looking at reviews for oils on Amazon, I started rethinking the whole idea at all. The essential oil business is a sketchy, sketchy business.
Cliganic does have its own website, the prices are a little higher there, and some single items are even offered with free shipping through Amazon Prime (straight off their website). If you choose to order from their website it’s a $50 minimum for free shipping (if i remember correctly). I would have preferred to place my order straight from the website to guarantee freshness/proper storage, but I only needed a small amount of two oils (I’m testing the brand first), and I was already placing an Amazon order, so I figured I’d see.

My order arrived on time and in perfect condition. I purchased the 2oz cold pressed Marla Oil. It came with a (bulb tipped) dropper top as the lid (no flat screw on lid). It was sealed with shrink plastic around the lid, and came in its own little branded storage box.
This oil feels really nice, is light. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling sole and hydrated. It doesn’t have any kind of weird or off odor. It does smell fresh, as in not anywhere near going rancid, but overall there’s really just no scent at all, which is exactly what I wanted in Marula oil.

I make my own cuticle oils that start with jojoba and marula as the base. I will update my review with my experience with actually using this brand’s oil after a thorough testing phase.
I have also been considering changing to oil for my face and body, but currently do not use these oils for my face, so I cannot comment on that use at this time.

***Also, I totally rely on reviews (I sort, filter, and study them), but I’ve hardly made my own reviews. I always forget, or I must be too lazy. But I’ve found that lately, the quality and choices of items on Amazon, as well as even in stores, is not very good anymore. I see an influx of duplicate, poor products, with soooooo many amazing, fake reviews – you just can’t trust things anymore and I typically purchase straight from companies bc of this!!! However, good companies are dying out. I think it is now, more than ever, so very, very important that we all make honest reviews for the peoples. The fake reviews far outweigh the real ones and things are getting sketchier and sketchier. All the while the good, quality items ‘No longer restock,” or companies are going out of business, or being bought up by greedy corporations who change formulas for profit. The honest companies don’t ‘pay’ for reviews, so the negative comments really hurts their brands. We are loosing our options and being inundated with junk!! I, for one, promise myself to make reviews. I’m so sorry for the good companies that no longer make/sell the items that I used to love ='(

Great at moisturizing my skin. First time trying this brand and I am very pleased with the results.

  6. Felix Mendoza

I really enjoy using this after cleansing my face either by itself or on top of an essence or hydrating lotion. It has a nice, natural, tropical nutty smell. A lot more affordable than trending high end brands that claim to have this ingredient.

  7. Catherine

I’ve only used it for a few days but so far, no reaction to my sensitive skin and no reaction. Hydrating oil, feels lovely on!

Arrived on time. My first time using this oil. It made my skin feel so moisturise, it’s not greasy. I also put it in my hair, made my hair so soft. I little goes a long way. Love that it comes in a dark glass bottle, to keep the light out. I will definitely buy again. Watching how the oil is made in videos. It’s really hard work, to make it.

I like to use face oil over my moisturizer before bed as I find it helps greatly with smoothness, moisture, reducing pore size and brightness. I was looking at an expensive Marula oil that had been touted in beauty magazines (the one with the elephant on the bottle) but wasn’t willing to spend that much money for such a small bottle. I can’t compare the two products but I have found the Cliganic oil has improved my skin as well as other facial oils have in the past (my favorite was an Ole Henriksen marigold oil that isn’t produced anymore). I will certainly hit from Cliganic again.

    I must say , I stop using creams ……
I see the difference in My Face
    My skin looks much younger

I bought the DE virgin marula to use after using my Dennis Gross daily facial peel. I thought there had to be something just as effective but less expensive. Turns out it’s this! It feels far better than the DE and it’s nicer on your pocketbook.

Ideal para la hidratación corporal y facial

I use a number of Cliganic products and this one is another winner. Marula oil is a new oil for me, but I’ve added it to my face moisturizing routine, with Jojoba, Rosehip oil, and Frankincense. It makes my face so soft without clogging my pores. It also is fantastic for moisturizing my lips, which always seem dry no matter what I do. I have also used it to add shine and defrizz my unruly hair and a few drops added to my curl cream helps without weighing it down. It has no scent and it doesn’t have that lasting sticky oil feeling that some types of oils give. Highly recommend!!
