After running out of my sample of that one $72 water cream, I went searching for alternatives and got recommended this. While I can definitely tell it’s not as premium as the other one, it still does what I want it to do. Think I’ll keep buying this one.
Edit: hey, if you mix a tiny bit of this with a tiny bit of belif’s Hungarian water essence, like half and half, you get something even closer to the expensive stuff! I don’t know if it has the same long term effects but the texture is similar now.

I have dry skin and prefer a little dewy (not oily, you know there’s a difference!) every day skin finish. Over the years I’ve done a lot to pinpoint issues with texture, balancing active ingredients, and most importantly moisture. I’ve tried many moisturizers from various price points and this one by far is my favorite, I wish it came in a bigger tube. As mentioned earlier, I prefer moisturizers that actually absorb into the skin that make it look nourished instead of greasy that sit on top of the skin– this product not only accomplishes that but is also super compatible with any other moisturizing serums or actives that I apply under it. In the past few years, I assume from the popularity, its gotten a bit more expensive. Wherever it goes on sale I make sure to grab a tube.

I feel like I should preface this review by saying that although I’m giving the product 3 stars, I wouldn’t say there was anything bad about the product, it’s just that it really did absolutely nothing for me. For reference, my skin is normal, with an oily T-Zone, and not acne prone or sensitive. The product is light weight, has no smell, and comes out like any other standard moisturizer would. It’s not greasy, leaves the skin feeling nice and hydrated, and that’s… about it. It’s not enough moisture for someone to use alone if they live in a dry environment, but could probably work well for someone who lives in a more humid environment I guess if they aren’t planning on layering it with anything else. The product isn’t bad, per se, and it did it’s job – moisturizing my skin – just not enough for it to be effective in the Winter time where I live, but I wasn’t willing to put up with another tube of this stuff in the Summer to see if it worked better in my Summer line up. It doesn’t make your skin feel greasy and was a decent lightweight moisturizer, but overall, I feel like it didn’t really do anything for my skin. It didn’t give me that ‘moisturized under my skin’ feeling, and I mostly felt like it was just a lackluster moisturizer that doesn’t really do anything else. Not a bad product per se, but for me, it really didn’t fit into my product line up. Also, I used the product every morning and night so unsurprisingly I ran out pretty quick and couldn’t justify the price to pick it up again considering it didn’t really do much for me. Overall, I gave it 3 out of 5 stars because it felt just okay, and nothing more, nothing less. Didn’t really go above and beyond, but also didn’t fall short of expectations either.

Wow, I saw this product recommendation by a tiktok influencer and I was desperately needing a new moisturizer for the summer season now that my face is oily due to the humid weather. The packaging is very simple and sleek. The product looks very heavy but once you put it on your face, it instantly feels so light weight and hydrating. It truly feels like i submerged my face into crystal clear blue ocean. Im very impressed by this moisturizer and how it never broke me out and left my skin very shiny and smooth. I will be repurchasing again!

This product is something I am repurchasing again actually, from the original Deep Sea Water Cream which has been come out with new packaging in 2024. I contacted Purito customer service directly via email to confirm that this was just a brand repackaging (new look), and not actually a reformulation of the product itself. They confirmed there is no change to the ingredients, so I repurchased it. I really loved the original moisturizer and wanted to get this one too on the amazon prime day sale.
When I first got it, I wanted to make sure I was getting the real product (sometimes products on amazon can be fake) and this is in fact, real. I noticed that the tube itself seemed a bit lighter than the original tube.
The only con with this product and the reason why I gave 3 stars is because if you notice very carefully, when you hold it up to the light, you can see that there is some empty space in the tube, so it’s actually not completed filled up with the product. I was disappointed, because I’ve seen this happening more in everything (like even chip bags, am I paying for air or chips?! lol) and so around 1/5 of it seems to be emtpy, you can’t see the product is there when holding it up to the light. Try to see with your own product if you buy as your phone camera may not be able to do it justice.
Besides that flaw (maybe it was just my batch that had a little extra air and other tubes were fine), the product itself is spectacular. For oily skin, I like that it is so light-weight and gel-like almost, but is still hydrating and doesn’t leave my skin dry. This is perfect for spring/summertime, for winter may need a little more oomph.
Overall, I will keep repurchasing this as my daily moisturizer and would recommend for others as well.

He tenido la oportunidad de conocer otros productos de esta marca desde hace unos meses atrás y tengo varios productos de esta línea, estoy encantada con los efectos que ha tenido sobre mi rostro, noto una piel mas hidratada, iluminada, fresca con poros mas pequeños y realmente suave. Es una crema de buena calidad y con la garantía por la que se conoce la estética coreana a nivel mundial.
Tiene una textura de gel satinado suave; forma una barrera que atrapa la humedad de manera efectiva, manteniendo mi piel hidratada y flexible durante todo el día. Lo que más me gusta es que no deja una sensación pegajosa, algo que siempre me ha molestado con otras cremas. Es como si mi piel estuviera envuelta en una suave capa de hidratación, lo cual ha sido un cambio refrescante en mi rutina diaria de cuidado de la piel.
Su contenido incluye agua de mar profunda de Gangwondo. Este ingrediente es extraído de 605 metros de profundidad, proporciona una hidratación ligera y está cargado de minerales importantes para la piel. He notado que mi piel se siente más nutrida y revitalizada desde que empecé a usar esta crema. Además, al ser un suero no graso probado por dermatólogos e hipoalergénico, es perfecto para mi piel.
