I specifically bought this oil because of everyone’s complaining about how orange it was. Rosehip seed oil is supposed to be orange. All the other brands out there that have a light straw color have been heavily processed. If you go out in nature and harvest Rose tips and squish them in your hand, it’s going to turn your hands bright orange red. Does this oil actually stain your face? It’s going to make you look orange, yes. But it’s not going to stay in your skin, it will come off with soap and water. I suggest wearing it at night, and not having light colored sheets. But it’s going to be great for your skin because of how unprocessed it is. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t have the scent it should. It has no sense at all. And maybe that has to do with the variety of Rose it uses. It uses a different type than another rose hip oil that I use. And I show that in the video I posted. But rosehip oil should have a very faint honey soaked grain nutty kind of smell, which is really pleasant. So I will be mixing this oil with another oil that isn’t as orange but has the scent that I’m looking for.

I do so much medical research on products as the health field has Always intrigued me. Younger, I had oily skin ( still do at 55) however I would break out in HS of course, the most self critical time towards ourselves as well as All those snobby, “pretty people” who are now bald, girls…not even near prom queen looks but yet they still act like it? I took Psych so I get it and why I still feel like a deformed freak, My secret from a rich friend with a dermatologist that ate Christmas dinner with the family gave Him the secret to that teenage acne or pimples. I may get Hate however, it worked and works for me as well as my hot nephew who fights girls off to my insecure niece a lot like me who has gorgeous skin. Gold Dial Soap…. Now I’m 55 so this was recommended probably in early 80’s however, it cleared me up. I swear by it but must moisturize as it can be drying and if no moisturizer, the skin will go into overdrive producing EXTRA SEBUM to make up for the dryness, negating your desired result. Vitamin C and rosehip oil and shea butter. I also have CeraVe repair cream but I switch it up and tap my face to get blood flowing. For a Caucasian 55 yr old, I , still with low self esteem, feel Great as far as my age vs looks. Good luck. Sorry for the novel

I really enjoy this rose hip oil. It is very nourishing after a clay mask that draws the natural skin oils out. It is very orange in color, but it smooths into the skin nicely and if you’re really worried about the color, I would think you could apply it at night before sleep and by morning maybe it would have had enough time to absorb into the skin. Will purchase this again from this brand.

This may be pure, but the staining property of this particular oil prevents me from using it on my face to accomplish what it is supposed to do, i.e. correcting dark spots, hydrating dry and itchy skin, reducing scars, burns, cuts and wrinkles (as claimed on the box). I didn’t even dare try it on my light hair. The color of the oil for this brand is bright orange, way too orange. Rosehip seed oil is good for the skin and hair, but I will try a different brand next time.

About 3 weeks ago I switched from “Castor Oil diluted with Aloe Vera Gen” TO “Cold Pressed Undiluted Rosehip Organic Oil and I’m very pleased with its results for: 1) It hydrates my face skin all day; 2) it spreads evenly with quick absorption; 3) my face skin looks (healthy) soft and shiny all day. FYI. “Castor Oil diluted with Aloe Vera Gel” for thinning and more manageable purpose, but it was sticky, thick and it didn’t absorb immediately. Its results wasn’t obivious as Rosehip Organize Oil. I’ll buy it again.

The color is not too strong as others are whining about. It is golden/orange but it’s not altering my Caucasian skin color at all. Gives me a nice glow.
