Bought this item as I’ve heard about elf cosmetics being a very good brand at makeup. I have extremely dry to occasional oily skin. This item is brilliant. I love how it sits on my face and it dries fast. Leaves no white cast like other products do. I put this serum on my face after cleanser. Definitely worth the money and worth buying

I love this serum! I apply it after using e.l.f.’s toner and while my face is still wet, it smells kinda interesting, but not bad. It moisturized well without clogging pores. I do go through it pretty quickly, but that may be because I use a lot of it! It’s not too sticky, either, and absorbs pretty fast. Definitely a skin care product I will continue to use!

Agree with other posters that it is sticky, though this improves once adding moisturizer over top. Better to be used at night I think. The niacinamide has overall brightened and evened my skin tone and it has really been the final thing I needed in my skin care routine (cleanser, adapalene, moisturizer, now this). I’ve noticed great improvement in skin tone, brightness, and pore size after about two weeks of use. I’m not sure if it’s as moisturizing as I expected it to be. I love that it does not have a scent!

I’ve recently been hitting my prescription tretinoin hard and I need simple effective products to sandwich layer to help with the irritation that comes from the retinoid.
And I got to tell you… This cheap, not particularly special, amazing little bottle does it for me.
Remember HAs need to be layered with something that is going to lock them in. They work great but they evaporate quickly and unless you put something over them they’re going to leave your skin dryer than you started. Nobody really talks about that but it’s so important.
I’m on .041% tretinoin And I’ve been really fortunate to not have a lot of purging this time around but since I am in my early ’40s the dryness has been worse than the last time I got really into tret. So now I’ll gently wash my face and then while it’s still kind of damp I will rub in this serum, sometimes I’ll combine it with a niacinamide serum or a cica centella serum depending on how irritated my skin is. I let that fully absorb and then I’ll come in with my tretinoin product, let that fully absorb and depending on how dry I feel throw on a ceramide night cream or leave it be. And it’s really helping minimize the side effects to the tretinoin.
I’ve tried all the other products in this line and I really like the little tub of cleansing balm as well but the rest of them are kind of horrible 🤫
But seriously buy this. Because it is so cheap that it could be a great find for you but at the same time if it’s not you’re not out much. Just put it in the travel bag or your medicine cabinet as a backup

Well I wasn’t expecting to much even though I read good reviews because I’m 62 but I must say with a combination of an LED face mask and some rice milk toner, this is the icing on the cake. It really plumps the face up and also the under area. Not much smell and it has a nice cool feeling to it. I also went ahead and got the make up remover in along the same lines, Holy hydration, It is also wonderful. It’s definitely working because people are asking me if I had something done to my face. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any redness or irritation nor have I experienced any burning or break outs. I’m a fan!
