So I came across Burt’s bees and try it out I love the flavors of mint and I thought vanilla try that one and my lips feel fantastic I have tried other chapsticks and other lip glosses my lips chapped if they don’t have Chapstick so Burt’s bees is the best I love the smell and how my lips feel.

Based on the description I thought I’d really like this. The flavor, if it’s called that, is just meh, and it doesn’t seem to stay on very long. I’ve definitely liked other BB balms better, particularly the medicated mint which is unfortunately hard to find.

  3. Penny Wild

Awesome smell makes my dry lips moisturizing and healing.
Will order them again! Can’t find in stores.

This chapstick has done more for my lips than any other I’ve tried. I’m currently taking accutane, so my whole being is drying out and my lips were chapped and bleeding. I started using this chapstick and it moisturized my lips very well and lasted hours after application. it feels a little tingly and cooling as well

  5. Blaze Trail

Liked it better when it was just unscented Turmeric ! The eucalyptus is unnecessary and a bit annoying.

I am a chapstick fanatic! I have big, luscious, full lips and any amount of dryness can send me into a downfall. Moisturization at its finest!! I use all Burt’s Bees products and have for well over 20 years. This chapstick is top tier!

  7. K & N

Never thought I’d be leaving a review for something so simple as chapstick, but this stuff is great! I’ve been using Vaseline Lip Therapy in the little tube for a couple years when I had desperately chapped lips that needed to be healed (constant cracking and bleeding), and they’ve since healed up nicely and I wanted to give Burt’s Bees a try again. I’ve tried their balms in the past, and they are nice, but way back when didn’t help with majorly damaged lips.

Normally the Vaseline is gone off my lips super fast, but this Burt’s Bees one stays on for quite a while! I do reapply often, but not near as much as I had to before. It leaves a nice waxy coating, with a cooling effect that is really refreshing. There’s also turmeric in it, which is great for inflammation. (For reference, I have difficulty breathing through my nose, therefore my lips are often dried out from mouth-breathing).

    Pros:
    – Smells great and refreshing
    – Has given my lips a wonderful plump texture, without being “wet” looking, just nice and hydrated.
    – Has helped with the texture a lot, and very soothing (though if “minty” feeling products irritate your lips, you may want to avoid this)
    – Fairly affordable, and tube #1 still going strong (edit: immediately after writing this review, the price went up $2? It was a little over $6 when I purchased…)
    – Tastes nice (except one part, see below)

    Cons:
    – The turmeric, while does provide benefits, I have noticed that there is occasionally an orange-tint on the edges of my lips where it meets the skin. It’s mild and doesn’t happen all the time, and you probably won’t notice it unless your very fair-skinned, like me!
    – The turmeric (again), this is minor and I actually don’t mind it, but turmeric tastes pretty “earthy”, like well, dirt! And for me it’s not a bad taste, but I wanted to mention it in case others might dislike it.

Overall, I recommend! If your lips are mostly healed/healing I think this is a great balm, but if they’re cracked and bleeding you may want to use Vaseline lip therapy until they’re healed up, and then use a nice balm like this after 🙂

This lip balm is great year round for dry and chapped lips that need some extra TLC! A family favorite!
