LOVE this! Hydrating and works well, with minimal ingredients. I try not to wear sunscreen, and practice moderation when in the sun. But this definitely puts my mind at ease for those days on the lake when you cant escape the sun. Takes a bit to rub in, and a little goes a long way, but overall one of the best and leaves less of a white cast on the skin than most zinc sunscreens.

I was looking for a natural alternative and accepted that this one was very greasy but ended up with a pretty bad sunburn after applying it under a high UV index (in Hawaii…). Obviously noy great given the risk of skin cancer etc. after sunburns. This told me what I needed to know > this sunscreen does not work adequately. Maybe it’s fine in the UK or Europe but definitely not soemwhere where the sun is strong.

We go to the beach 2-5 times per week from late sring to early fall. We havent burned at all, event with frequent swimming and or surfing! We have taken this sunscreen to high altitude too and never burned! We love this clean brand with minimal ingredients. We hope they never change their ingredients. We dont mind the cream, and it has never been inconvenient to lather, sometimes we will mix it with oils.
PONDGURU OUTDOORS –
When I go abroad on holiday I generally don’t wear any sunscreen due to the dangers associated with the known carcinogens they contain – but this one is different.
The Badger sunscreen is expensive compared to well known brands or shops own branded products but it works very well without the obvious problems caused by standard sunscreen.
The first holiday I used this sunscreen on I was the only one who didn’t get burned. My wife and son were burned while using a shops own brand (quite expensive) sunscreen.
That is a great result for me since I was applying something without dangerous chemicals in AND I didn’t get burned by the sun at all even though I lay in direct sunlight day after day.
Basically if you care about the health of your organs (the skin is your biggest organ) go for this sunscreen.
If you want to risk skin cancer and other known complications caused by standard sunscreen then be my guest.
I will stick with the Badger sunscreen and although the consistency may be much thicker than ‘normal’ sunscreen I know that there is nothing in it which adversely affects health.

This brand has clean ingredients, works well as a sun screen and the face stick can also be used on the lips. I usually prefer spray products, but couldn’t find any spray products taht didn’t have harmful ingredients in them. I recommend this product for clean ingredients, easy application & effectiveness.

My son breaks out with any regular sunscreen brand, even the baby ones (copper tone, banana boat, Hawaiian tropic, etc). I hate the mineral sunscreens though because of the thick, white pastiness. This was perfect! It rubbed in well (no white) and it didn’t bother his skin! We’ll be using this in the future for him from now on.

Used this on very fair skin on adults and kids in 35 degree heat – very effective but expensive. Would re-buy.

This was kind of hard to rub in and didn’t seem to protect me as well as regular sunscreen. I got sunburned on the first day. Once I realized you have to reapply quite often it worked better but that is more of a hassle than I prefer. Made me feel like I was coated in gunk.

It went on smoothly. It could be used as a primer if I were to wear makeup. I use alone, bare faced and there is no white cast. All natural ingredients. I did not get any sunburn and non comedogenic for my sensitive skin. Does not burn or sting like other spfs. The stick was the only thing I didn’t like as it was too thick and didn’t go on smoothly. The tube is the best out of the two.
Soupy Noodles –
I’ve transitioned away from mainstream sunscreens and this was my first mineral based-zinc sunscreen. It goes on well and doesn’t leave you looking like a chalky ghost, which is a big plus. After reading some of the other comments, I was afraid it wouldn’t work, but I wore it in the pool/on hikes/ during general summer antics and had great results! Literally the only problem is that it’s SO greasy and it DOES NOT rub in. I even had to stop putting it on in the car because everything I touched got a greasy white tint. On the flip side, I always felt super moisturized after applying it.
