Pros: no scent, didn’t irritate my skin nor clog my pores, removes makeup, affordable and biggest bang for the buck (I assume this product will last at least a year as a little goes a long way).

Cons: does not emulsify nor wash off easily with water. Personally I couldn’t stand how heavy and grease-like it felt on my skin and how terribly hard it was to rinse off. I definitely recommend using warm wash cloths.

I bought this to double cleanse my very oily skin and help unclog my pores, but it does not compare to other cleansing balms. If you can spend a little extra $, I highly suggest trying the INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm or Elf Holy Hydration Cleansing Balm instead. Those are smoother, lighter, and I can actually see grits popping out of my pores. However, if you’re on a budget, you cannot beat this amount of product for the price. Just be aware of the consistency.

This product looked like a dupe for Clinique’s Take the Day Off at a much lower price, so I gave it a try. In a way it is similar. A small amount of product almost liquefies in your hands and does a great job of removing makeup, including mascara, without burning your eyes. The downside is that it is very hard to wash off. It is a vaseline type consistency that does not dissolve in water even when followed by a foaming cleanser. There is definitely a residue that is supposed to moisturize, but I didn’t like the feel of it. The label claims that the product is non-comedogenic, but I still feel like it is clogging my skin. The trick is to use cotton pads to remove most of the product, then wash, but that seems like an unnecessary step to me. I am planning to keep the product because it does a nice job of removing eye makeup, but I won’t buy it again or recommend it as a daily full face cleanser.

I had never heard of Albolene before, but this is exactly why I love testing products. Trying new things & providing the best possible review of my experience.
The size was much bigger than expected, you get a ton of product for the price point. A little goes a long way. The consistency was soft, and creamy, also scent free. It was like magic, it just melts right on your face and instantly removes makeup and built up dirt and oil. My face felt soft, hydrated and clean. The ingredients Shea butter and Jojoba oil are so good for your skin. It’s gentle and nourishing. Great for all skin types. I will definitely continue to use this to wash away my makeup for the day. 10/10 recommended!! #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Fantastic makeup remover. Very effective in taking off dirt, oil, and makeup. I’ve have it for almost 6 months, using it everyday and used maybe 1/4 the container. It does leave a slick residue, that is easily removed with a cotton round, and a cleanser shortly after. Non-drying, no scent, great for sensitive skin. I wouldn’t say it’s moisturizing? Because you have to remove all of it because if the residue. Overall great product. Would recommend.

  5. Myriah

It quite literally doesn’t smell. There are many “unscented” products, but many of them still have that “unscented” smell that is the natural scent of what is added, right? This doesn’t. I literally couldn’t pick up a scent from it.
Rubbed it all over my face to remove make up. Didn’t get any irritation. It felt light. I didn’t have to scrub much at all to get the waterproof make up off like other removers.
And it left my face so soft that I didn’t feel the need to moisturize after.

Melts even waterproof makeup off really easily, but leaves your face very oily afterwards. Definitely a nighttime use. Also there’s a ton of it, I’ll never use it all

  7. Co

I used it a few times and wasn’t impressed. To add to that, it fell from my shower rack and cracked the bottom of my shower. That became an expensive patch because replacing it was too expensive. I wish I never bought it.

Wow, I can take off make up without irritating my eyes. Great price point and my face feels great! This is now part of my daily skin care regimen.
