I was diagnosed with a rare skin rash disease earlier this year which completely dehydrates me from the inside out. I have tried a dozen face lotions from inexpensive to very expensive to only find my skin already dried out 30 mins after applied. This lotion retains my moisture all day. I am so impressed with it, I bought two more bottles of it and will be buying more. It works, and the price is good as well. I highly recommend it.

I like the effect of the moisturizer but stopped using this daily because of the smell. Cleaning my face at night then wearing a CPAP mask concentrated the scent beyond my tolerance. It starts out smelling like lavender, then wends it’s way into a more chemical/ditch combo. Pretty unfortunate.

I have been using this moisturizer for approximately a month now, along with the face wash, serum, and eye cream in the same line. The cream is luxurious and a little more on the thicker side so you don’t need very much at all. It spreads easily across your entire face and neck. So start with a small amount.
I have extremely sensitive skin, and this does come with a lavender scent, that is fairly strong, but it does not bother my skin or cause any breakouts whatsoever. The smell does not linger either it does go away after a few minutes.
This is absolutely a great value for your buck, the entire line is fairly priced in my opinion. And it actually works, I do see some lifting and skin tightening going on, after having lost a significant amount of weight. I have been struggling to find beauty products that actually work and help with the lifting and tightening, and this is doing the trick. I am just over the moon. You do of course, as with anything, have to be consistent.
Also, I would recommend to use this as a night cream rather than a day cream. As it is a bit more heavy and keeps your face moisturized for a super long time. I do not use it under makeup I use a lighter cream in the mornings and then this at night, and then as the final step I use my roc night time serum capsules to seal it all in. That’s just how I prefer to do it.
I absolutely recommend the moisturizer.

I used this for years and it always gave me a healthy glow. I don’t remember why I stopped using it but I had forgotten about it after some time.
My skin started looking more dull recently and I tried everything in my arsenal to revive it but nothing helped. I remembered this and ordered some in hopes it would help. After a few days my skin is back to a healthy glow. Definitely not forgetting about this again! Such an awesome product at this price point and key t helping me age gracefully!

I just received my first Derma-E. For now I will only write a comment about the scent. To me, the smell is a combination of menthol and shaved pencil. Honestly, the smell is not that bad and it doesn’t linger. Maybe for some people who commented that this cream has a bad smell, I guess they have different body chemistry when the cream once applied on their skin. For those who want to try this cream because of the potent DMAE, don’t be discouraged about all the negative comments regarding the smell. Try it for yourself.

I have used this product for years, when I have skipped it I always go back. Delivers improved skin plumpness, firmness, texture, evens tone, prevents and diminishes fine lines.
The cream is soothing and absorbs quickly without greasy feel or appearance. Sunscreen and make-up go on without issue. My skin is sensitive, and scented products create problems, but this product only provides benefits for me. Highly recommend Derma-E and this longterm favorite!

This is a mixed review. I’ve used “Derma-e Firming DMAE Moisturizer with Alpha Lipoic Acid and C-Ester” AND and ordered it from Amazon for several years and I love it–5 stars! Goes on nicely under makeup and I receive compliments on my complexion. I have sensitive skin and I’ve been so loyal to this product.
However, today’s 1-star rating is due to instead receiving “Derma-e Ultra Life Firming DMAE Moisturizer with Copper Peptides and Resveratrol, Kakadu Plum.” I don’t take any copper supplements (that’s a whole other subject) so the ‘copper peptides’ ingredient would entail some research. I’ve never heard of this particular Derma-e product.
After no luck with Amazon’s robot, I talked with a real person who was quite nice. I’ll receive a credit on my account in about a week, and even though I offered to return the unopened box if it was postage-paid, he said there was no need to return it.
My purchase page states this is an Amazon’s Choice product, sold and shipped by Amazon. If I’m feelin’ lucky, perhaps I’ll order again from a different seller… but for now I’m back to square one.
Incidentally, I searched for Derma-e TONER with DMAE, alpha lipoic acid and C-ester to order along with the moisturizer, and it doesn’t appear to be available anymore at least on Amazon. A shame.
Update on 11 March 2022:
Well, I gave it a try–the wrong moisturizer sent to me–since I was told to keep the jar. I have sensitive skin and while I didn’t get a reaction, this product appears to be drying, not moisturizing.

Derma e’s customer service verified that indeed, Firming DMAE Moisturizer – Alpha Lipoic Acid Face Moisturizer has been discontinued and has the copper peptide product instead. So, the trio I bought for years–moisturizer, facial wash, and toner is no more. I’m looking for another product/company now.
