This really is a game changer when you have a chapped nose. It’s very soothing and hydrating, and hides moderate flaky skin. However the scent isn’t wonderful. Not the worst but it kind of smells like those cheap cake scented lip balms that you’d get gifted as a kid. Wish it came in different scent options to choose from.

Let’s start with the only negative: the smell is slightly unpleasant. It’s not perfumed; it just smells like the ingredients, or like smelling an empty bottle of olive oil (but not as strong). You don’t notice the smell after a minute, though. After one day of usage, I barely notice the smell at all anymore.
Everything else about this product is freaking wonderful. It’s made of natural and organic-certified ingredients, the balm is easy to apply, the lack of perfume makes it probably safe for sensitive skin, is easy to carry around in a purse or pocket, and doesn’t make my nose or the surrounding skin greasy or itchy.
Whenever I get sick, my nose immediately gets sore and chapped from blowing my nose; I put this on in the morning, when my nose was so raw it was about to bleed – the same evening, the skin had healed a bit and the redness and pain were gone. My nose was still peeling a bit, but the next morning there was no more peeling. It’s hands down a wonderful product and I would recommend this to everyone. This is way better than trying to apply lip chapstick (scent/texture/healing wise) to my nose, and more effective and lasting than lotion. I apply a thin layer of this balm to my nose about 5 times a day at the moment, but it’ll probably go down to twice a day as I get better. I love this product so much. If you’re in a warmer climate, be aware that this will probably melt on you.

Likes – not shiny when applied (so looks ok), smells nice (natural, like honey).
Dislikes – need to be sure product is out of the sun or not on body (like in a clothing pocket) or else it gets softer, stick shape sometimes a little tricky for applying further in from exterior nostrils but can always place some on fingertip to apply.
Recent discovery – Purchased a few times. Used alternatively with chapstick and aquaphor for my dry itchy nostril skin. I’ve had the itchy skin for around three years, and it never went away, at times seeming worse. It’s like my skin lost elasticity, and any time my stray bangs would touch my nose, it would trigger an irritating cycle of itching/scratching and the skin never got better. I’d even scratch subconsciously in my sleep. Thought I’d have to just resign to living with itchy nose skin for the rest of my life. Until recently, I tried Flonase spray for my daily allergy. Just one spray per nostril each morning (I also take a daily zertec pill), and within just a few days of starting Flonase, noticed a side result was that my itchy nose skin finally went away. All this to say that Flonase might help your situation as it did mine. So now I use this nose balm sparingly vs my prior habit of using it all day through the day to moisturize irritatingly itchy nose skin.

Love that it’s packed with great minerals and vitamins. Smells great. Very moisturizer and seems to help with recovery of damage nostrils may have endured….. love it. Bought one for the roomie too and he loves it as well!! Will definitely repurchase, I use it nearly every day multiple times a day!

I used it last night as soon as I received it, my nose did not hurt overnight, I woke up with no crust, bleed or pain inside the nostrils. I applied it again this morning. Extremely happy with the results so far 🙂

It works every time. If I stop using it for a few days I get the same symptoms. It is not a cure, but everything disappears as soon as I use it again. It makes my life better. I already enrolled in the subscribe and safe so I will never run out.

I am now also using DermaBalm. In only 2 applications it healed my hands and heals.
During this time of the year the skin of my hands and heals crack, peel off and they get beyond dry. I only applied a thin layer at night on two consecutive days and my skin healed. The product completely gets absorbed by the skin and even if I do not put the product on, my skin keeps looking and feeling healed and it is not cracking. I also love this product.

Every winter a crack develops on the inner edge of one of my nostrils. Only in the winter and only one nostril. It is painful and bleeds. I’ve tried applying Chap Stick which is too hard as well as ineffective. I’ve tried applying a dab of Neosporin with my finger, which is very effective at healing the crack, but is messy to apply and after some time the Neosporin “melts” and leaves a greasy area around my nose. So I searched online and was pleasantly surprised to find this InstaCure Nose Balm. It was a relief to discover I am not the only one to experience these nostril cracks. The InstaCure container is the identical length, width, and volume of a Chap Stick. My Chap Stick contains .15 ounces and this InstaCure contains .15 ounces. Both the Chap Stick and the InstaCure fit inside approximately the first .5″ of my nostril. The crucial difference between the Chap Stick and the InstaCure, is the InstaCure product is softer than Chap Stick. The InstaCure is a perfect firmness to maintain its shape, while effectively applying enough product. With a twist/twirl of the InstaCure an effective amount of product is applied inside my nostril. The InstaCure has a mild honey fragrance which does not dissipate after application. I like the fragrance of both honey and the InstaCure. My nostril feels deeply moisturized and even after a full day, the InstaCure has not melted, smeared, or run. InstaCure is a new tool in my arsenal of winter gear!
