  1. I enjoy reading books.

Helps issues on my face. Lightens up fine lines and smooths the skin. If I was better at using this cream ever day, I would be amazed and pleased.

Growing up I remember seeing this cream with the funny name behind the counter at my local bodega. I was always curious about it but never bought it. I finally bought it 30 years later when I got more and more into skincare. I don’t feel like it’s worth the hype. It smells like traditional fragrance night cream, so nostalgic if you remember what your grandmother or aunts smelled like after hugging them goodnight, but as far as performance it lacks. The cream is very thick and sits heavy on the skin. I don’t feel like it absorbs into the skin. Maybe it could be used as a moisturizing mask and then washed off? Feels like I have petroleum jelly on my skin… and that’s with a very small amount of product. Personally, I feel like it may not be good for people who have oily skin. I have combination skin and it still felt uncomfortable. I won’t be purchasing this product again but I am glad I got that curiosity out of my system. Oh and I don’t ever remember this product ever being this pricey.

I like this product a lot. I use it in the morning under makeup and in the evening for bed with serum. It isn’t greasy or shiny on the skin, and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is so soft! A little goes a long way, so start with a small jar. It’s thick and feels slightly grainy, but once massaged in to the skin, it really does feel great. Your skin does look better after regular use!

I haves noticed a dramatic difference but I recently started using. Smells great!
Skin feels great when I use it

  5. Sky Narazo

Not recommended on my skin type and developed allergies.

This product is a very good moisturizer but it has an odd floral fragrance. If you’re old enough to remember your grandmother’s bathroom air freshener, the one that looked like wax flowers and sat somewhere near the toilet, the fragrance of this product will immediately transport you back to childhood. The night version of the product, without sunscreen, is also great – and does not have the fragrance.

Saw an ad that this is what Selma Hyak uses and I liked it, so I keep it around.

DEL INDIO PAPAGO Facial Day Skin Cream with Tepezcohuite is a skincare gem that delivers exceptional hydration and nourishment to the skin. This jar packs a powerful blend of Tepezcohuite, Collagen, and Vitamin E, leaving your skin feeling moisturized, rejuvenated, and radiant.

One of the key ingredients, Tepezcohuite, has been used for centuries by indigenous communities for its remarkable healing properties. Its anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects make it ideal for soothing and repairing the skin, making this day cream particularly beneficial for those with sensitive or damaged skin.

The addition of Collagen and Vitamin E further enhances the cream’s effectiveness in promoting skin elasticity, firmness, and overall health. Collagen helps to restore moisture and improve skin texture, while Vitamin E provides antioxidant protection against environmental stressors, helping to combat signs of aging.

I appreciate the lightweight texture of the cream, which absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It provides all-day hydration, making it perfect for use under makeup or as part of your daily skincare routine.

Moreover, the small-sized jar is convenient for travel or on-the-go touch-ups, allowing you to maintain healthy and glowing skin wherever you go.

In conclusion, DEL INDIO PAPAGO Facial Day Skin Cream with Tepezcohuite is a skincare essential that delivers outstanding results. Whether you’re looking to hydrate, nourish, or rejuvenate your skin, this cream has you covered. Experience the transformative power of Tepezcohuite and indulge your skin in the luxurious care it deserves. Highly recommended!

Yes, I fell for the hype too. It hasn’t worked any miraculous miracles in the last few weeks, but it also hasn’t done anything bad to my skin and that’s more than I can say for other lotions and potions! I decided to review now since I can tell it’ll take ages to use the entire jar, and I’m not expecting miracles anyway. The price is excellent though I notice they’ve been raising it.

I was nervous because everyone said it us a strong smell, and I hate strong fragrances on anything. It’s true, it has a very strong rose (aka “old lady lotion”) smell if you put your nose in the jar. But I found that a very tiny amount is needed for my whole face, and I can’t actually smell it at all once it’s on, thank goodness. Putting sunscreen on top surely helps cover the aroma (this says it has sunscreen but I use the real deal in addition, which likely is going to contribute more to keeping my skin youthful than any lotion could, but I digress). After it’s applied, it seems to sink in well and does not leave a greasy or sticky film at all. I’m pretty impressed with the after-feel.

Since it isn’t making me break out, and it doesn’t actually smell bad when it’s on, I’m going to keep using it. If I hit the end of the jar and have aged backward like Benjamin Button, I’ll be sure to update this review. Until then, it’s a basic, inexpensive moisturizer that is pretty decent.
