I tried the sugarcane and papaya one first and loved it, this one is great too. I love that they are more on the oily side because it’s more moisturising and just looks glossier than regular balm.

I always use Hempz lip balm now. My lips used to chap and literally split in the middle in wintertime. (Northern Ontario winters). I’ve been using Hempz for years now and haven’t had that problem since. My lips are always soft and supple now. If I find a flavour that I like, I usually buy a bunch because they sell out fast!

The good—CRAZY amount of product. I did not envision how enormous 0.53oz/15g of lip balm would be and it is literally the size of my hand. The price seemed sort of mid-range for lip balm until I saw how much product you got, so now I’m convinced it’s a steal. It also seems decently moisturizing (neither the best nor the worst; it’s sufficient!) and feels nice enough on the lips, and the packaging is cute—I like the texture over the sprinkle pattern to give it a 3D effect.
The meh—Doesn’t really smell like much of anything, which is disappointing when I got the birthday cake scent specifically to enjoy a sort of sweet confectionary aroma. But it’s more odorless than anything else.
The bad—it tastes HORRIBLE. I cannot believe anyone would enjoy this flavor; it is outright rank. I now have this huge amount of product and I literally don’t even want to use it a second time, it tastes SO bad!!! I have no idea what I’m going to do with it tbh, I genuinely am cringing at the idea of having to taste this again. I’m a big fan of lip balms, but I don’t usually buy ones with hemp oil, so I’ve got to assume it doesn’t agree with my taste buds.
So anyway. Does a fair job of moisturizing, its main purpose, so that’s good. Lots of product and nice packaging for a thoroughly average pricepoint, you get a lot of bang for your buck. There’s no scent if you were angling for that, but an overabundance of a really horrible taste. Won’t be repurchasing, possibly won’t be reusing after literally only one time, but I really do appreciate how enormous this is for a lip balm…
Update: I thought about using this as a body balm. The upside is, you can smell it better when it’s used over a large surface area. Still a very light scent, but faintly discernible nevertheless. The downside is, this product is Very sticky and takes forever to dry down/absorb, so it’s not really useful as a body balm either.

This is smooth going on but it’s very waxy. While I like the smell and the feel, it’s more of a lip conditioner and doesn’t do much to make your lips look good. My lips look kind of waxy and weird after applying which is unusual. I did notice my lips felt softer when I wasn’t wearing it so it’s doing something for sure but I will only use it at night.

The good news is this works miracles! But forewarned: this tastes awful –very bitter–like petroleum jelly. It tastes so bitter that I only keep it on for 10 minutes, then I wipe it off, and it STILL works wonders. So it’s a lip treatment rather than a stay-on lip balm.
Although I’ve now also tried their “Hempz Buttercream Cake Bite Herbal Lip Balm” and it works wonders, too, without any bitter taste! Nice!

I really like this lip balm, it moisturizes well, I like the vanilla mint scent, and it’s a huge tube so you get a LOT of product for your money, which is nice these days! The only issue is when you twist it up it doesn’t twist back down, it won’t even let you push it back down the tube so be careful not to wind it up very much to apply it lol otherwise it’s a good balm!
