This zinc cream soothes my skin and protects from UV light. It takes a while to rub in so it doesnt look too white, but the cream has a good consistency. The tube it comes in is made out of metal.

Seems like a good product so far. It is a thick zinc cream, similar to diaper rash creams as zinc is its main component. So if you slather this on your face you are going to have a hard time removing it. Hasn’t caused irritation so far, I use a little at a time over irritated areas and feel like it helps soothe it down a bit.

I have trouble from time to time with skin chapped by wind. This product is so soothing and gives prompt relieve from the stinging and redness caused by weather. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t have a strong scent so it integrates well with my regular skin care regimen.

I tried this as part of my night time skin routine. I noticed the next morning my skin was much less red. I had some redness and irritation on my cheeks for a few days, and after using this cream it was significantly lighter the following day. The cream is quite thick and will leave a greasy feeling so I recommend using at night. It is essentially the main ingredient in sunscreen (zinc oxide), and so I am not surprised at the redness reduction. It is quite thick in consistency, so it may be a little difficult to spread on a completely dry face. Overall, I was surprised at how well it worked and would recommend.

At first I thought this was a sunscreen because it’s a very white and thick cream, but it’s a barrier cream. You just need a small amount and you really have to rub it in well to your face so it doesn’t leave a white cast. I do feel like my face retained more of its moisture during the day when using this. It doesn’t really have much of a scent. Will continue to use this in the evening probably so I don’t have to worry about it looking greasy under makeup.

This is a thick but spreadable cream that is packed with high-quality ingredients, according to the information I put through the checker. I’m still learning and getting familiar with what makes good skincare good – and this is a product that has impressed me more and more over time, with more consistent use. I’ve seen less irritation and reactivity in my skin – this product doesn’t add to any irritation, if anything it has neutralized it – and it lives up to the description. I like how soothing it feels to spread over my skin, though it’s not as easily absorbed at first and I have to let it linger on the skin due to the thickness. I really like this cream and have enjoyed using it.

This product is a bit strange, but not bad. It does seem to do what it says it will do, so that’s a win. But be prepared that this looks like straight up sunscreen going on and it’s also very heavy feeling like sunscreen would be too. It doesn’t really absorb well into the skin, more like sits on top of it. To repair the skin barrier this makes sense, but it’s also a little impractical. Your skin will look and feel greasy, so don’t plan on using this for going out in public. Strictly a night time at home cream lol.
I smell no detectable added scent, but it also kinda gives that sunscreen type smell to it because of this. It smells a bit chemically to me. Not my fave.
The tube does come sealed and must be punctured to use, so that makes me feel good for sanitary purposes.
All in all I will probably use this product from time to time but don’t see this being something I use daily or that I would repurchase.

I had seen a couple of You Tube videos that recommended zinc oxide for rosacea. Of the two that were recommended one(the natural one) is not sold in the U.S. and the other has some ingredients that I found iffy. I found this one on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I am very happy with the results. I use just a tiny amount(half a pea size) morning and night with my other products and I find that my skin seems to retain moisture better and is really soft. And best of all, it has not triggered any rosacea. This alone will not eliminate your rosacea, but if you have discovered a good routine for you, this will be a great addition. And for those without rosacea, I think this will still be a good addition for moisture retention and softness.
