My skin is super sensitive and very fair. SPF is a must, but most facial sunscreens make my skin break out and look greasy. Mad Hippie is one of the few brands that agrees with my skin, so when I searched for a new daily SPF for the summer I was so happy to find this one. It is such a light formula that you barely feel it on your face, and it doesn’t leave a white cast or greasy appearance. You can wear it alone or under makeup. It has a very light natural scent. My favorite thing about it though is the vitamins— my skin looks SO healthy now! For the first time since I was a kid I’ve started going without foundation or bb cream most days so I can actually show off my complexion. I didn’t change anything about my skincare routine except this product, and I’ve seen a huge difference. Note: the SPF isn’t strong enough for long days in the sun, but for daily wear it is absolutely perfect. If you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend giving it a try!

I needed something that wasn’t heavy, had sunscreen and added a bit of zing to my tired skin. This serum does all of that and best of all it’s not drying or heavy with alcohol like store serums. All of their products are really good quality but if you are looking for a serum that has all the stuff for good skin care this is it.

I recently switched to all non toxic makeup and skincare, and I have loved all the Mad Hippie products I’ve tried.
I use this moisturizer after washing my face in the morning before I put my makeup on.
The scent is light and pleasant, and while the moisturizer comes out pretty runny, it feels soo silky on your skin.
I have sensitive skin and have zero irritation and no breakouts since I started using.
Also, I specifically chose this one because it has SPF in it!
A little goes a long way – 3 pumps feels generous on my face.
Highly recommend trying this if you’re committed to using clean ingreds on your skin!

Based on my first impressions, the biggest pros about this sunscreen that I love are that the serum consistency gives it an enjoyable application than most mineral sunscreens on the market. It leaves just a very faint white cast on my medium-tan skin, and it has a beautiful natural finish that isn’t too oily or dewy, so it it’s great for under make up application. I also love that it has 80 minute water resistance. I wish it a higher SPF value so it’s not one I would wear daily, but it’s good for days I want to wear makeup but need sun protection.
The one thing that’s really keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars is that there is a mild tingling sensation around my cheeks and I’ve noticed some redness and blemishes but haven’t had a full out acne break out. So I’m just not sure yet if there’s a specific ingredient that’s causing that or if there are other factors. For the price and formulation, I’m going to give this a fair chance and keep using it in rotation with the daily sunscreen I’ve been using.

Been looking for a lightweight sunscreen for my face that is clean. Love this. Works well. Light under my moisturizer and makeup. Lasts all day.
