A significant improvement in one week of every day use. While the product is expensive and should be marketed in a larger tube or bottle, if you are struggling with dry skin issues and desperately in need of a cure – purchase this product! You will not regret it!!

I’ve had really dry and really overly firm skin (think two steps down from rhino skin) on my chest and back for over 10 years. I’ve tried tons of lotions in that time and while they help some right after application I’ve never seen any kind of lasting results, the skin is the same as always once the lotions are washed off. After 4-5 days of applying Paula’s Choice lotion once a day, I really started to see a significant difference. My skin is so much softer and feels a lot more supple now, it hasn’t looked or felt like this in forever. The really incredible thing is that the results seem to last, even when I don’t get around to applying the lotion for a couple of days, now my skin still feels so so so much better. I also found that if I apply it to my feet a couple of days in a row and then soak them in warm water it’s a lot easier to scrub off dead skin and even callouses (without any issues to the live skin underneath). This product isn’t cheap, but man has it been worth it to me!

Great product (easy to use, works well) and excellent value. I gave it 4 stars for what appears to be extraneous landfill plastic shrink wrap packaging when the tube opening has a foil seal. I’ve sent a note to Paula’s Choice Customer Service, and hope other customers will, too.

My 14 year old son had KP. He was extremely self conscious about it. He just started high school so he was really feeling self conscious about any little thing. I told him I knew of a product that would help his “bumpy arms”. I ordered and it arrived quickly. I wasn’t expecting such a change in so little time. Both arms had KP on the upper arm and forearm. He started using an African net in the shower to help exfoliate some dead skin off. Then right after his shower, he’d slather this on. My son has used it about a week now and I have seen a huge improvement in his arms. He’s confident again all because of this lotion. We both love that it doesn’t have a strong fragrance and soaks in quickly and easily. I’m now a fan for life and will buy more Paula’s Choice products!

My skin (thighs and arms) were noticeably different after a few weeks use, and the majority of the bumps stayed away almost a year later ! I use now from time to time with exfoliation. Little to no scent, goes on well, and absorbs nicely Into your skin. Leaves my skin feeling non sticky, but moisturized.

Great for KP. Moisturizing but not too occlusive or too thin. Just right. Not sticky. Fragrance free. Better and less expensive than Neostrata that I’ve used for years. I use at night 2Xweek. The next morning after my shower I apply a regular moisturizer on my arms and legs. Soft, smooth and clear skin. It works exactly as advertised. So happy with the results.

I find this product to be too harsh to use even once a week for me. I think they should have used a more thoughtful combination of acids rather than just glycolic. There are so many glycolic lotions already on the market, I would have loved to see something like 3% lactic 7% glycolic, or maybe even some Mandelic in there. I also hate to see dimethicone so high up on the ingredient list, which explains why it felt so chalky too.
Oh well! There are a ton of new AHA lotions coming out that I love. I would try some of those newer formulas if I were you, until PC updates this one.

Packaging was well sealed; the lid had a plastic tamper wrap over it, as well as a protective seal over the small bottle opening (under the lid).
As far as the product goes, i can only apply this to my forehead and nose as it stings if i apply it anywhere else. I always have plenty of sebaceous filaments and flaky nose skin because i squeeze (big no no). After using this product a handful of times (once a day for a few days in a row), my nose feels really smooth and the brown boys have been evicted. Bottle is too big for my purposes, but i highly recommend.

Exfoliates well
Not too harsh on skin
To preface this review, I exfoliate my skin two to three times a week, I don’t do so everyday. Exfoliating every day, may or may not cause skin to become agitated. Over-exfoliation is not necessarily good. Having that said, the times I’ve used this product, my skin seems to do okay. I always apply lotion or cream after I put this product on so my skin doesn’t dry out. My skin looks very healthy after I use this product and I have no complaints. It exfoliates well and does its job.

I was skeptical but my bumpy skin is silky smooth after only 2 days. The smell people mentioned is a little bit medicinal but not overpowering. I’ve used Amlactin for years and that smells stronger than this. I never got as good results with the amlactin as I have with this one. I’m sold!
