Great smell. Seems to clean well and leave my face feel refreshed. I’m knocking one star off because the hinge on the flip cap has broken on my last two containers making it a pain in the ass to recap and store upright. For the price, they should be using higher quality packaging. Otherwise, highly recommend

I have very sensitive skin on my face: rosacea + autoimmune + peri-meno = damage damage damage
I had tried a lot of different sensitive skin cleansers and moisturizers and while some of them helped a little bit, nothing could really get my skin back to healthy looking before my autoimmune started really flaring up during peri-meno (fun times to be a woman right?)
I stumbled upon Tatcha after a google search for best cleanser for damaged skin barrier. While Tatcha wasn’t #1 on those lists, it was the most affordable as some of the cleansers were well above $100 for the same amount or less! So off to Amazon and one swipe and a click later I had it ordered.
The cleanser is creamy coming out of the bottle, I use about a nickel sized amount and massage it all over my face and neck in the shower, after I wash and rinse my hair so it’ll get any residue hair product off my face.
First impression, it has the slightest texture to it and VERY MILDLY exfoliates. The rice in the wash smoothes out very quickly turning into a creamy and smooth texture. I don’t notice a fragrance and if there is one, it’s faint and hardly noticeable
After a few days I saw noticeable improvement in my skin with less dry patches and far less redness. After a few weeks of consistent use, the irritation in my face was gone.
I’m no longer searching for anything better because I don’t believe it exists for my skin, especially at this price point.

This is an exquisite product! It cleanses so nicely without stripping off my skin, while moisturizing and soothing.
I love the scent, a little goes a long way, use a tad smaller than a pea sized amount.
I have rosacea and it’s helped my skin feel wonderful. My skin looks and feels so much better.

This is a reorder for me. I love the rice wash for cleansing my face. Actually, I follow the Tatcha ritual written on the instructions included with the product, beginning with the rice wash, followed by the rice polish, the essence and dewy skin cream. The smell of the rice wash is fresh and light. When water is added, you get a creamy lather that rinses easily and leaves your skin ready for whatever next step you follow. No dryness, no tightness to the skin! It is not inexpensive, but the results are what keep me coming back.

I’ve been using Tatcha face wash for a few years and its been one of my favorite beauty finds. This gentle cleanser is a game-changer for my routine.
The texture is creamy and it lathers beautifully, removing impurities without stripping my skin of its moisture so my face never feels dry. My skin feels soft and hydrated after washing. I’ve also noticed a significant reduction in breakouts, which is a huge win!

This is the first time I’ve used this product. It was recommended to me by a good friend so I thought I’d give it try.
I love it! It doesn’t leave my fact feeling dry or tight! It rinses off easily as well. It’s a bit expensive, but worth it, so far.

This product lasts for the longest time, at least for me (around half a year) it may be on the pricier side but it’s worth it for how long it lasts. This was the first cleanser I used when I started my skincare journey around 5 years ago and I still use it even now. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and it always leaves my skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. I use this cleanser and an exfoliating cleanser ( from another brand ) as my only cleansers and they never dry out my skin, even when used together on certain days. If you have combination skin, this one, in my opinion is worth giving a try.
