8 reviews for 100% Pure Extra Virgin USDA Organic Unrefined Cold Pressed Camelina Seed Oil 1 Gallon (128 FL.OZ)

I purchased a gallon size container mainly for my horse. A put some aside for me to use. The main use for my horse and for me is for our joints. I feel a difference in mobility. My horse has always had dry skin and sensitivity to bug bites that sometimes produce hives. Dry skin is disappearing, his coat looks better (he already had a nice coat), and he is not as itchy. My fussy horse likes the taste of the camelina oil and licks his feed bowl clean.
    I will order again.

I use this as a supplement for my horses. Reasonably priced and I was happy to find it on Amazon.

My itchy dog itches no more.
My horse has put on some weight thanks to this oil. Their coats ate so soft and shiny.
They all love the way it tastes.

I was looking at and actually bought a more expensive brand that didn’t work out for my diet sensitive horse. Was thrilled when I found this brand! Not only better due to being organic, it was even less expensive. No more hives, my mare is now shines and is feeling better than ever as a 30 year old! Love it 😀
    I’ve even started using it!

I bought this oil for my two German shepherds. I love that it doesn’t smell nor taste, and therefore my cat will eat a little in their wet food as well. Absolutely loved this product. Little bit on the pricey side.

Camelina oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. It is also a lighter weight oil than olive oil for cooking or salad dressings. It has a taste that is hardly discernable so it doesn’t overpower. It can also be used for conditioning skin. I first came to hear about it when my veterinarian recommended it for some sores my puppy had acquired at a kennel–it was safe for the pup to lick and cleared up the sores nicely. I now, not only use it for myself, but I also feed a tablespoon/day to my dog.

My horse has an itchy belly from biting flies and has rubbed the hair off, creating scaly patches. Tried Zyrtec and he didn’t respond to it. Tried horse allergy supplements and it helped just a little. Started giving him one dosage of this a day and after a month noticed his hair on his belly growing back. His tail even looks shinier and thicker, and light dapples started showing on his bay coat. He doesn’t mind the taste at all (I pour it over his supplements mixed with a little forage), and we live in a hot area and the oil remains stable. One of the pickier horses even likes it when mixed with his feed. I’d say this jug gives you about two months for one horse.

Effective on joint. I notice a big difference in my giant breeds. Their coats are awesome too
