I love this product! Makes my skin feel smooth and removes blemishes. The only thing I’ve noticed is it makes my neck feel a little itchy. It’s mild, so not a huge hindrance for me, but it could be for those with extra sensitive skin.

I’ve been trying to find a serum that works for my skin for SO long, this one is amazing! I’ve had ones in the past burn/irritate my skin, or not have any noticeable difference on my skin. This absorbs very quickly, leaves my skin smooth and soft, and has not irritated it at all. I’ve only been using it for a week and it is causing my skin to purge (getting some acne on my jawline/cheeks), however despite that I am already seeing results. It also has a nice scent, and I like that it isn’t super runny like other serums I’ve tried.

My skin looks healthy and glowy, and I know it’s thanks to this serum. Not to brag, but I’m telling the truth—friends often reach out just to ask what skincare products I use on my face. Honestly, it’s a combination of drinking tons of water, getting good sleep, deep cleaning, and giving my skin the nutrients it needs with this serum. I also have to say: I love and hugely appreciate that this serum is affordable! For real, I’ve tried expensive serums before, and I’m telling you, they’re no better! LOVE LOVE LOVE this Vitamin E product from Mad Hippy!! It was my first time trying a Mad Hippie product, and I am super impressed. I have tried other Vitamin E’s before and didn’t notice anything. After about 4 days of applying this morning and night, my skin texture was already visibly improved! I couldn’t believe it. I changed nothing else about my routine so this is definitely the reason. I don’t have a lot of problems with my skin (ie acne, rosacea) but still, it made an obvious improvement to the shine and smoothness of my skin. I was worried I might get a rash or a reaction but my skin LOOOOVES this. Will buy again and again. Also cannot wait to try the “Super A” product next! Yay Mad Hippie! A quality Vitamin E that works and doesn’t break the bank.

Tried many vitamin C serums and I always have some kind of reaction. For the very few that I don’t react to, they leave a shiny film on my skin. It’s not just shiny but like a layer of something. Not sure how to explain. For this vitamin C, there is no reaction and no film or residue. This has a beautiful smell and I normally only use skincare without smell. This is the only exception and their Vitamin A serum which I decided to try after loving this Vitamin C. I also went on to try their face oil too. I mix only one drop of the face oil with a few drops of the Vitamin C in the AM and my face looks more healthy and glowy but not greasy. I’m so glad I tried their line of products! Moving on the write their next review for the vitamin A now.

It appears to be the original Hippie Vit C serum. I have sensitive skin and this product doesn’t burn when applying it whereas other vitamin C serums have on my face. It is a little expensive though for a small bottle.

This is my second bottle of this. I bought the first at Whole Foods, on an impulse. Heard it was a good one, and wanted to try it, because I’d been disappointed in other, cheaper Vit C serums in the past. My skin is clear and in good shape, though I spent a lot of time in the sun when I was younger. I don’t reallyhave any deep wrinkles…it’s just that when you get past your 30’s, you lose that youthful glow….and I have some very fine lines…so, I usually am using at least one exfoliating anti aging product. While using this, I used it alone, because I wanted to see if it really made a difference. After washing my face, I’d apply this serum, a little eye cream, and then if it was morning, my makeup. I used the entire bottle, down to the last drop, so I feel I can give an honest review.
One, it works, and quickly. Within a week or so, I saw a smoother texture to my skin. By the end of the bottle, my skin definitely looked smoother, brighter, and 3 darker spots on my face (sun damage) were at least 80% lighter. I have one on my right cheek and two on my jawline, that I would cover with concealer. Amazingly, they are almost gone. Two, it’s pleasant and easy to use. Not really luxurious, and has no scent, but who cares if it works? The serum has an almost watery texture, and sinks in fast. A few drops go a long way. I spread it over my face, neck and chest after cleansing at night, and sometimes – though not always – applied in the AM as well. Three, I had no breakouts or irritation from this product. I applied it everywhere, including my upper eyelids…but I don’t recommend that, especially if you have sensitive skin.
I bought my second bottle from Amazon, I think it was the same price, but I see right now that it’s priced at several dollars less. Will definitely keep using this, and maybe even try more products from this company. Highly recommended.
Edited to add: due to my positive experience with this product, I decided to go with the company’s recommendation to use the stronger Vitamin A serum at night and use the Vitamin C in the AM. I know there are some negative reviews here, and wish people would describe their skin condition before leaving reviews. Possibly if one has really deep wrinkles or extensive aging or sun damage, the effects of these products are going to be minimal, or take a lot longer to show results.
