I love how this doesn’t smell like other tanning lotions. The way it goes on clear is nice as it doesn’t rub or transfer to other materials or clothes but is a slight downside as it is hard to know if you’re missing any parts but overall really like this the best over all the other self tanning lotions I’ve used.

Pleasantly surprised. Despite tans telling you they don’t smell they always do. This one however is clear and doesn’t stink like all others. The colour is ok. A bit more orange than other tans but not too bad and not badly priced.

I put this on and took a nap an hour later on my white sheets and had zero transfer! The medium color gives me a light tan that looks like I went to the beach over the weekend. I’m interested to try the dark for a deeper tan and will update if/when I try the dark. I use a sugar scrub in the shower right before I apply and I think the oils from the scrub make the dry spots like elbows hands and feet blend easily without having to apply lotion before applying the tanner. I have only self tanned 2x in my life over the last 10 years so I’m definitely a novice and it was still easy to apply with the clear color. Will definitely be buying more when I get through this bottle.
Update: I got the Dark color and slept in it and it’s darker but not too dark. Still no transfer on my sheets! I’m not sure which color I like better. I might use the dark more frequently and just rinse it sooner when I want a lighter color and sleep in it when I want it darkest.

Llevo 10 años usando autobronceadores , he probado prácticamente todos y sin duda este es el mejor. Aplicación de lo más comoda, no tiene guia de color solo una leve sombra que no mancha en absoluto no como la mayoría de los que llevan guía,el color no tira a artificial como la mayoría de los que no llevan guía y consigues un tono oscuro de verdad en una aplicación no como en la mayoría de los que pone oscuro que al final para que se note te lo tienes que aplicar mínimo 2 veces en el momento. Perfecto!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be split into 2 parts:
1. What to know if you decide to purchase this product
2. What to do if your pump doesn’t work (like mine)
1. First, I have used this product for two and a half years – and NEVER had a complaint. I have used multiple bottles and always got great compliments on my tan which has been a huge ego boost, as I can not naturally tan and am predisposed to skin cancer. I normally purchase direct from the Sephora website or a physical Sephora store, but this time I had no option but Amazon. I didn’t bother reading the reviews (mistake number 1). When I received it, there had been this weird, milky film floating around inside the bottle. I had NEVER noticed this before. I shook it, assuming it was separation. Still didn’t combine. MY SECOND MISTAKE WAS TRYING TO STILL USE THE PUMP – DO NOT DO THIS IF YOURS ARRIVES WITH THIS WEIRD FILM. Get a cheesecloth (preferred) or any kind of drainage utensil to separate the film from the liquid. It’s fine if there are small particles but the larger ones will clog your pump and render it useless. Refill the liquid back in the bottle after at least two drains, and you should be fine. And if you have already messed with the pump, read part 2.
2. Okay, so you must follow the draining instructions at the end of part 1 – the pump is now useless but you can use any other pump top to replace it. I drained the bottle from the milky film twice and then bought a bottle of foaming hand wash. I transferred the soap liquid to another bottle (reused a water bottle), cleaned out the soap bottle, and refilled my now clean tanning solution into it.
I am waiting for the clean tanning solution to dry on my skin now. I’ll update this review with whether it worked or not.
*UPDATE* it worked perfectly, and I still achieved a great, even tan. I won’t update the scoring because honestly I had to go out and waste more money (and time) on correcting an issue that should have been picked up on when they were doing quality control.

Love this although you can’t see were you have put it the colour when it appears is really nice and natural looking you can top it up to make it darker plus point it doesn’t rub off on clothing this is my go to tan for the foreseeable

Ich habe das Isle of Paradise Selbstbräunungs-Mousse gekauft, um mir auch ohne Sonne einen schönen Glow zu verleihen. Die Verpackung des Produkts ist ansprechend, und ich schätze, dass die Inhaltsstoffe natürlich und vegan sind.
Was mir besonders gefallen hat, ist der Geruch des Mousse. Viele Selbstbräuner haben einen starken, unangenehmen Geruch, aber dieses Produkt riecht neutral und angenehm.
Leider hat das Produkt auch einige Nachteile. Das größte Problem ist, dass der Selbstbräuner Flecken hinterlässt. Es war schwierig, ein gleichmäßiges Ergebnis zu erzielen, ohne dass gewisse Bereiche fleckig wurden. Ein weiteres Problem ist das Fehlen einer eindeutigen Anleitung auf Deutsch. Als deutschsprachiger Nutzer fand ich es herausfordernd, das Produkt korrekt anzuwenden, ohne genaue Richtlinien zu haben.
Trotz dieser Probleme werde ich das Selbstbräunungs-Mousse weiterhin nutzen, allerdings beschränke ich die Anwendung auf meine Arme, wo die Flecken weniger auffallen. Ich hoffe, dass der Hersteller in Zukunft verbesserte Formulierungen oder klare Anleitungen bereitstellen wird.

Easy to use, soaks into the skin quickly without leaving a residue. No need to shower off after a certain amount of time. It develops into a lovely, natural golden tan, not orange at all, and it doesn’t have a strong fake tan smell either! It fades quite naturally, once a week top up is fine for my fair skin.

This is the first tanning product that I’ve actually used over and over. It does not leave you blotchy streaky or faded in different places. I put it on and leave it on for 24 hours. Let it fully develop and it’s good for at least three days through showers and everything. It’s a wonderful product and it looks all natural not orange at all.
