I was really excited for this cleansing balm. I liked that it turns into a milky cleanser after rinsing, and it does work to take all of my layers of products, makeup and sunscreen off. Also does not dry my skin. However whatever good attributes it has can’t make up for the “pilling” this does. In the pic you’ll see that little clumps form and it’s easy for them to “fall” off when washing my face. Can kind of make a mess and is just overall annoying. Does not come with a little applicator scoop/spoon but it really should because it does not come out soft and creamy, I kind of have to scrape it and it’s a little flaky. Just not as good as other ones I’ve tried. I’ll probably go back to Then I Met You living cleansing balm. But still like the brand overall, this just wasn’t my thing.

I had never entered a Sephora store in my life, but I was shopping with my daughter and she loves it, so we went in. While there I asked the salesperson if she could recommend a gentle facial cleanser, since the one I had been using was discontinued. She recommended this Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm. I gave it a try, and I LOVE it. I have extremely sensitive skin, and I have no reaction to this whatsoever. It is unscented and very gentle. It becomes creamy very quickly, and removes makeup like a charm. I even use it on my eyelids, and it doesn’t hurt my eyes. It leaves my skin super soft. I’m actually glad my previous go-to was discontinued, otherwise I never would have found this stuff. I’ll keep using it as long as YTTP keeps making it!

I like this product because it cleans my skin and at the same time it gives it softness. The butter does not smell at all and this is a good point!

Lightweight feel on my skin. I put a minimal amount on a wet washcloth, pat my face with water, and gently clean my face. My skin doesn’t feel dry.

I’m not as impressed with this product as i was expecting. Ive heard so many good things about Youth To The People and was pretty confident that this purchase would be an upgrade from my previous cleansing balm. However, i was disappointed with both the consistency and smell of this balm. It’s very firm, almost solid, and didn’t come with a scooper so I had to use one I had from a previous balm. I could honestly overlook that, but the smell is the reason I won’t be repurchasing. It smells super plastic-y and chemically. If you’re looking for something cheaper with a better formula on amazon, I recommend either Junoskin or Clean It Zero!
