I cannot tolerate Tretinoin at any concentration – I have tried to use several different concentrations and have been left with damaged and dry skin which doesn’t fix itself. I had given up on retinoids and stuck to a very low concentration retinol until I had a bout of skin congestion and needed something stronger to help my skin a bit. I have used this every day since I bought it about 18 days back and it has made a huge difference to my skin. Cleared the clogged pores a lot, reduced the breakouts I was having on my forehead and made my skin texture feel a lot better than before. This is the only thing stronger than a retinol that I have been able to use everyday without irritation. I had a mild skin sensitivity the first week I was using it but that didn’t last very long. I will report back with my results after having used it for longer.

My daughter suggested this brand to me as she uses it. I use it for 4 days during the week in the evening. My skin is very oily at 67, so I don’t use a moisturizer after. It does take some time to build up a tolerance.
Your skin can get sore if used too much at first. I switch to an exfoliate 2 days a week. I let my skin have a break when it gets a little sore. During that time I use a regular moisturizer.
I saw my brother after using it and he said my skin looks really good. That was the first compliment that I’ve ever gotten from him!
It works on neck wrinkles too! It is the first thing that has ever worked to make my neck look smoother!

Not sure if it’s me or what. I have used “retinols” in the past with no or not much of any issue with dryness. As soon as I put this in, my face and lips become dry.

I love this brand! I’m on their retinol serum, have been using retinol for about a year now. I’ve been workin my way up and needed something stronger, so got the 5%
So glad I did. It’s not drying at all. There is no smell, the serum is hydrating and easy to spread. You have to use a hydrating serum after bc you’ll get more hydration along with your moisturizer. I use a ceramide serum the cocokind one or my purito unscented centella serum or my panthenol one by some by mi- but I used my niacinamide serum with it one night and had the most glowing skin the next day! I was so hydrated and plumped. It comes in 1.7oz nice pump bottle. Which for the price is a steal for retinalhyde. I started using it 3x a week and on the nights I don’t , I use their retinol serum and/or their glycolic serum, which is another amazing product for the price and the amount you get! Once I’m done with the 5 percent I’ll get the 10 percent. But I see people complaining about drying and the retinol uglies. Unfortunately people will go through that even when they use it right, but that’s what it does. It burns sometimes too. You have to keep using it maybe use it less or do the sandwich method. But it will eventually go away. I was lucky I only got red and a little burning sensation when I first started. Just use a really hydrating serum and moisturizer! It’ll be worth it! This brand is amazing. We need more brands like this. With good products and ingredients and at an affordable price. And that actually do what they say the product will do. I trust this brand which says alot for me! Some of these brands overprice their products. I can see an active like retinol being more money than a HA serum or ceramide serum but people charging over 50 bucks for a hydrating serum is ridiculous and even then the product is not good. And then even their actives are 80 or 100 bucks, it’s sometimes ridiculous 🙄 especially when the product isn’t great and doesn’t do what it says it will- I can go on but I’ll digress. I’ve tried many skincare products and companies and you don’t need to spend a lot to see results. I love a good serum and moisturizer and do splurge every now and then but now I do it wisely and buy from companies that are worthy and just wait for a good sale on here😉 my Italian mother taught me a few things! Lol. Anyways – again I only write product reviews if it’s worth the money and a great product. I’ve not been using this long enough to say if it worked on certain issues have but so far it’s amazing and if it’s anything like their serum and glycolic acid then I’m sure it’ll be worth it. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

It took 2 to 3 weeks to see any results, but I do see them now my skin looks fresh and smooth. I haven’t had any irritation, I apply it at night night before I go to bed 3 to 4 times a week.

I’ve used prescription tretinoin for three years now and love the results I’ve seen on my face. Unfortunately every time I use it on my neck and décolletage, I end up getting itchy after a few days. I figured I’d try retinal as an interim step for that area, and since I’ve liked other Naturium products, this seemed like a good option. I’m currently using 0.05% and plan to increase to 0.1% down the line.
I haven’t used this long enough to see if it will help with collagen production as that can take many months even with retinoic acid, but so far I haven’t come across any negatives. The price is reasonable, especially for 1.7oz. It’s lightweight and soaks in quickly with no greasiness or stickiness, and doesn’t make my skin itchy or dry even when I forget to add moisturizer afterward. It’s even a fun color.
If you’re a newbie to retinoids or want a gentler alternative to tretinoin (either for your face or just specific areas), I definitely recommend trying this.
