I have very sensitive skin to perfumes and additives. Certain products can be pretty irritating and even induce hives. This Cleanser lathers well enough to clean without stripping and making your skin dry without causing allergies. NO perfumy scent.

I bought this because I have very dry, sensitive skin that seems to react to a lot of things. So far, this cleanser has worked well for me and I use it all over my body! It doesn’t sting and my skin seems to have less flare ups compared to when I used other soap. Sometimes I get eczema, and although it doesn’t heal it or anything, my skin seems to tolerate it a lot better than other products. No, it’s not life changing or miraculous but I think there’s been a noticeable difference in how my skin feels after a shower. I would say this product is worth it for those who also have sensitive/problematic skin!

The only soap that does not dry my skin!

The version I used is labeled “Gentle Hydrating Cleanser”; it doesn’t specify “Face and Body.” I’ve purchased this product three times now and use it as a body wash (typically on a sponge) and as shampoo. Rather than taking the whole container into the shower, I dispense the heavy liquid into a squeeze bottle and refill it from time to time. Each container lasts months. I will continue to purchase this product.

I have dry sensitive skin that gets super oily quick throughout the day. I had originally bought the smaller version of this cleanser which lasted me 2 whole years. I decided to try something new and switched to Cerave hydrating cleanser but did not like the lotion consistency, it made me feel dirty and caused minor breakouts. I ended up switching back and so far I am loving it again. My breakouts had cleared up. This new cleanser is a bit runnier than the old one but still lathers. Leaves your face squeaky clean yet hydrated. Has no dyes, scent, or harmful chemicals at all. Would absolutely recommend.

Love this product! What caught my eye at first was the PH! High ph drys out your skin and hair most company’s have high ph on the beauty care products which cause oil rebound , then the oil clogs your pores and hair follicle . PH IS A REAL BIG DEAL! anyway this product cleans my skin so good and does not dry out your skin. This is all I use to clean my face and it’s a good deal!

Sebamed changed my life. I have dishydrotic eczema on my hands. Sometimes to the point of not being able to work. Sebamed, along with a better diet, and the power of positive thinking, have become my everyday routine. Leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. I would highly recommend Sebamed to anyone with a skin condition.

Coming from Europe many moons ago, we are familiar with the brand Sebamed and its great reputation with people who have skin sensitivity issues.
Over the years we could not find a cleanser that would not lead to skin irritation sooner or later. While the price of Sebamed is almost prohibitive, the (missing) skin reaction is worth it, at least for us it is.
Scent is pretty much absent, another big plus.
