Soap foams up well and the dispenser works great! Looks pretty too. I love that it is glass. The plastic dispenser that goes with it seems sturdy.

From prior experience with this brand, I expected a good product, but I didnt expect to be as extra impressed as I am. This is a lovely kit. In short: light pleasing aromas, tight foam that feels creamy, doesnt strip hands, very effective cleaning. Rinses well. Great tin. 5 stars.

This brand has good stuff. In the past I have ordered all purpose cleaning spray tablets, and found that it works well. Trying this hand wash definitely piqued my interest. However, it was the shape of the bottles that drew my interest.

I have a tiny bathroom with soap holder that is built into the wall at the sink. It is meant for bar soap, but it will hold a slim rectangular bottle. I have one that works, but it is not a foaming dispenser. I wasnt sure if this would work, but I like the brand enough to want to give it a try. I chose the plastic bottles as they appeared like they may be smaller than the glass option. I am not sure though.

So I will mention that here as it is not mentioned elsewhere that the plastic measures approximately 1.5″ deep x 3.5″ wide x 5.5″ tall.

Not a perfect fit, but it sits on the tray pretty securely. Yay!

OK.. so this soap is nice. Has a lovely creamy feel, tight foam. Not a loose airy foam. Feels luxurious. I must say, it is even better than I anticipated. I thought it would be effective but run of the mill. Nope, this is more luxurious feeling. Between the creamy feel, the effective wash, and the lovely light scent, I am pleased.

My skin doesnt feel parched after using this.

The plastic bottles are sturdy feeling. Thick, not cheap feeling. They have a nice aesthetic.

Tin with the soap tablets is a great addition! A nice-looking tin that holds the tablets is really helpful. It’s a quality tin!

Aromas are very pleasant to me. I have made up 2 of the 3 (2 tablets each, individually wrapped, for 6 total tablets). Light yet I catch a nice whiff as I wash my hands. Not perfumy or overly done. I tend to stay away from overly scented products, yet I dont want unscented. I like a little something. This may be too light for some, but I find it perfect. I CAN smell it.

To dissolve, just follow directions on box. Add a tablet to the bottle, add warm water, shake, let sit for about half hour.

This review is for the Skipper hand wash duo kit–two plastic foaming soap dispenser bottles that come with a metal container filled with 6 tablet refills. The instructions say to fill the bottle with warm water to the fill line, then drop a soap tablet inside, wait 30 minutes for it to dissolve, and then have nicely foaming lather for handwashing. I liked two of the three scents, but am not a fan of either coconut or chai, so skipped those and went for making soap with the bergamot instead. The tablet dissolved completely and the soap foams out of the dispenser really well. The kit even comes with extra filters that I’m guessing help with the foaming process. The soap very evidently doesn’t have any moisturizing components, which I find particularly important going into fall and winter months, and I just can’t get behind vanilla-coconut-chai scented soap, but this seems like a decent way to cut down on packaging.

I am very happy with the dispenser. The soap scents not as much. I looked for kits that had the fragrances I wanted and didn’t find what I wanted. I know there are a lot of people that like lavender, rosemary and eucalyptus, but not me. Any facial soaps available?

I’m tired of buying plastic bottles of foaming hand wash, only to throw them away when they are empty. The glass bottle is pure quality and easy to use. It’s a great value for the money and I was definitely impressed with the smell of the foaming soap the that resulted from that little tablet you add to the bottle. I think we ALL need to get into this, to help the planet by not having bottle after bottle thrown into the trash. This is the most wonderful product I have seen for helping our environment in a LONG TIME!!

I am really enjoying the scents of these foaming soaps. The scents are noticeable, but not something that lingers or is too perfumey.

The dispensers have a nice clear look and they work well. I get a nice foam from them. One of my dispensers was missing the fill line, but it really isn’t hard to figure out how much water to add. The container that holds the extra tabs is made of medal and also has a nice clean look.

The tablets dissolved easily and I found them to be a convenient way to do soap refills. I like that they are a smaller footprint than keeping liquid foaming soap on hand. The tablet storage can hold much more than 6 tablets, so once you figure out a preferred scent you can order refills and have a place to store them. I didn’t find the soap to be drying and it didn’t irritate my skin. Overall, it’s a really nice quality set.

I bought this for the idea of sustainability. I’ve been taking plastics out of my life for several years and it was the hand soaps turn. The pumping mechanism is plastic, but very well made, and I expect it will last several lifetimes longer than others of its kind. Same for the glass, which is thick, heavy, and feels luxurious.
The only reason for a 4/5 rating is the scents. The scents are very lovely, and I DO enjoy that they are muted, but they could be just a smidge more prominent. That being said the soap does its job and leaves no icky residue.
I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a bit of luxury, while helping Mother Earth.

-I like this soap. No problem there.
-I have the previous version of their glass container and the pump often get’s stuck. They seemed to have improved it in this version.
-This new container looks nice but it’s wider than the other one and I can no longer use it on my small bathroom sink b/c it doesn’t fit. It would be nice to have the round option with the new pump. Or sell the pump separately so I can replace the one that doesn’t work well in the old one.
