  1. Gemini

I am giving this five stars because this face wash is incredible, particularly when paired with the cleansing balm.

However: (this is Amazon’s fault, not the manufacturer’s fault) I received a used and half empty product. The foil seal had been removed and it was definitely used.

Please initiate oversight and quality control of the Amazon distribution branch. Thanks.

    [UPDATE]
So y’all….I bought this in February and now it’s ten months later and she’s finally emptied out! I’m shocked bc typically most of the other cleansers last for 3-4 months. I still stand by my Initial comment and it’s the perfect cleanser for me! But make sure to not open your mouth bc it’s def bitter.

    [ORIGINAL POST]
I don’t know why people were complaining about the smell, as someone who has a sensitive nose, I really didn’t mind the scent! It just smells like tea. Also this has to be the first cleanser I’ve used that doesn’t dry out my skin. I live in an Area where the winters are DRY. And my skin feels evaporated, and this cleanser really helps! I’ve gone through a lot of cleansers and I’ll definitely will be sticking to this one. 🙂

I have very dry skin and it didn’t help me.

    Perfect for a double cleanse

This review is for Then I Met You Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel – Sulfate-Free + Hydrating Water Cleanser for Face with Fermented Rice Water + Green Tea – Vegan, Clean Skincare (3.38 fl oz)

This cleanser was interesting. It is brown in color, is translucent, and is quite thick. The texture is kind of gooey. I’m not even sure how to describe it exactly. You don’t need much to wash your face with. The only thing is it has a light medicinal scent that isn’t really my cup of tea. It doesn’t linger though so those that aren’t too bothered by scents will not mind this. The only thing, is that it seemed to irritate a part of my face that was dried and flaky. I think this might not be for people that have sensitive skin. I can see people with oily skin using this.

    I am not sure it

makes my skin feel clean without stripping all the oil

it is on the pricier side of skincare, but i think it’s worth it because i use it alongside cleansing balm/oil cleanser so i’m not using a ton on the daily which helps it last longer

it doesn’t leave my skin dry at all and my skin doesn’t look irritated afterwards — i would recommend

  7. Amazon Customer

I’m usually skeptical about trying new products, especially cleansers as I naturally have a mixed skin (oily/dry) but then I tried “then I met you” and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. Good value for money and not too brutal of a scrub while still giving a deep cleans.

cleanse, but doesnt strip. lasts a long time. bad bottle design, hard to squeeze out
